The complete lack of any hanbin content is sickening. I know survival shows are picky about their screentime and who they capture but I have never witnessed such a stark difference in one person like that, especially when it's dwindled down to such a small amount of people. Crazy.

Jay is such an interesting person - if you're able to watch his solo vlogs or watch ENHYPEN content where he talks to his past/future selves, you'll see what motivates him, how grounded he is and the deep connections he forges with people. I don't find him to be flippant in any way, but he's also really funny!

They actually had their latest comeback, "War Cry," a few days ago, and are currently doing their Korean promotions. It would be great if you could watch &Audition, the show through which the group was made, once you're done with I-LAND. Hobi, TXT and ENHYPEN all appear on some &Audition episodes as well.

I've watched and rewatched this show so many times I can't even count them anymore. I cry every time. Still though, it's great to see how much everyone really improved through the process of the show and how far they've all come now. As painful as it is, it really is a show about growth and friendhsip.

2023-11-16 22:51:27 +0000 UTCWhat I love about Jay in ILAND is that everything about him is so intense and he has so many very sad moments, but then you reframe all that once the sad moments have passed and they become the most ridiculous, over the top dramatic moments and he's honestly the heart of the show, he makes us cry and laugh the most. He was my favorite all throughout, since he became a Grounder until the end. He's probably still my Enhypen bias (although I love all of them so much it's hard to choose just one. Maybe a toss up between him Heesung and Sunoo)

2023-11-16 22:50:53 +0000 UTCi always forget that you're a fellow cancer and infp then we start crying at the same time and i remember again lmao i watched i-land after it finished but before their debut and jay was my bias by like episode 2 or 3 so episode 10 is especially devastating for me lol. i just love that kid, he seems so genuine. like calling sunghoon his "one and only unit" and heeseung his "lifes turning point"?! so cute i wanna launch myself into the sun. i also have a heavy soft spot for k, niki, and taki. i relate to their oldest-middle-youngest sibling dynamics so when i see niki and k sobbing over taki i turn into that one cryptid that literally disolves itself because it cries so much.

2023-11-16 20:53:09 +0000 UTCsomething to understand about the voting at the time is we were trying to keep all our faves in so depending on what happened in the last episode and who was in danger we'd try and vote for that person, which is why Jake was so low here, We assumed that since he got the double votes he'd be safe no matter what so we focused on voting for our other favs instead of him, which unfortunately caused him to drop. Hanbin's lack of screen time made his fans super worried so they voted super hard for him which is why he was much higher. etc etc. Personally, as a Niki fan, i was super worried for him at this point in the show, he wasn't getting as much screen time as before, and people weren't voting for him as much because everyone was so focused on saving their own favs. It was a really interesting dynamic bc fans were trying to organize and overcompensate while voting which caused a few really surprising outcomes, I was sure Jake was gonna be first in voting this week but he wasn't because *everyone* assumed he'd be first, so not as many people voted for him to focus on others more in danger - like Jay.

He's grown a lot 🥹 Anyways, can't wait to watch this again though. It's one of my favorite episodes cause it's pretty wholesome and doesn't stress me out until the end 😆 Ah, I lied...seeing you react to Jay reminded me I was stressed for Jay 😥
