I'm curious if a lot of people in Canada voted for EJ. I'm Canadian and EJ also drew my attention right away (and I did vote for him when the show was airing). He kind of gives off this sweet, gentle aura that I think Canadians would appreciate.

I believe he does a lot of romance dramas, correct me if I'm wrong guys. But anyway, back on topic, with Geonu, it literally broke me heart at how much he pushed himself to the breaking point. I cried so much during that scene. He was so determined to make it. The producers aren't wrong that he does have a straight face but at the same time you can't expect someone learn how to show immense facial expression over night. I think that's just his personality and I wish they had took that into consideration. But it's not my place.

2023-10-30 19:59:34 +0000 UTCAlso, yes! I mentioned before that EJ is pretty introverted and tends not to stand out as much and that's totally the case for Sunghoon as well. I watched this show a few times cause that's how I got my friends into it and I didn't notice him as much until my second watch of the show. You'll also notice that there are some trainees outside of performances, that don't get as much camera/interview time, like Nicholas and Hanbin, but I think it's because at the time they didn't speak as much Korean since they're international trainees. Ni-ki, K, and Taki, while they were also international trainees, were able to speak some more Korean so they were fortunately able to get some chances to shine. But, yes! Once you get to Part 2, it'll also be easier to pay attention to all the trainees since there's much less of them. Can't wait to see it! Also to see the BTS ep again haha

I think if you were watching on Viki, it would have that recap ep, but they skip it on these websites. I'll say this before you watch the next one as well, after eliminations for part 1, try not to look up where the eliminated members are at as that might hold potential spoilers for you. If it's okay, I'll comment names of those that debuted in other groups from the eliminated members and you can look them up after you're done watching the show if you decide to do so haha

I just started watching this for the sake of it but i have deliberately not looked up the band since so I don't know whos in it. But this episode can really sort of see the ones who might become idols and those who probably wont even if I couldnt guess final lineup at all. No surprise about heesung though hes such an ace you can see it, he would be a solid centre for the group. Personal faves are jungwon, jay k and sunghoon.
