Status update Episode 12

After a lot of effort, I finished the art for the other big scene I was working on and added 200 more static renders to the queue.
I felt I needed a change of work tasks, so since then, I've been writing code and performing various tasks related to episode 12 and the season as a whole. I've felt like I've been completely in the zone this week, and that usually is a testament to when the episode development is up and running smoothly.
Next week, I will be working on whatever I feel most excited about doing - and at the moment, it's a lot of different things. I'll likely create some art, but also write more code and maybe even dialogue.
The animation queue is still decently sized, giving me more time to work on other areas of the episode before I have to continue posing animations. I mentioned using some new techniques with animations in an earlier status update, and I've been able to see the result of the post-processing for some of these animations this week—it's looking really good, and I'm very happy with the result.

In poll news, Camila won the Special render poll that ended today. It was one of the most even polls in a long time, and she ended up nabbing that first place in all the polls. Camila will receive a dedicated special render set in episode 12. Thanks for voting!

While we can certainly hope for more with Cinderella/ Thirsty Ghoul, you have to remember that in real life chance encounters do not necessarily go anywhere. Since this is a game and significant work has been put into her this is less likely, but she could be a connection to our mother's family for all we know, so I am tempering my expectations with all of the other stories to pursue.

It’s like all of a sudden amidst the masses of unknown side characters there is this striking looker that is just conveniently placed right in the front for us to admire. In the lab and in the yoga class. Just want to say really great work on her. She was catching attention (well… mine at least…) before she was even brought out into a prominent plot position. Looking forward to seeing where she goes from here. You’re doing incredible work Doc and I’m sure it’ll be a masterpiece when it’s finished. Make sure to take care of yourself.
