That means you're not living in the US. In which country do you live? And if you prefer not to answer that for privacy reasons, I can narrow it down to this: are you a native English speaker? Episode 10 really went hard into some controversial topics and I for one would be well and done with Maya and her storyline if I could. I think this question was answered in the past already. I recall that it would not work as every episode consists of general events valid for all branches and branch specific events. They are all logically connected and releasing one branch would already have to include also content from the others, so it makes no real sense. Also it would be a huge risk of inconsistencies between the story arcs.

20 years older? Someone, who gets those ideas needs some teaching in either math or biology or both. In the scene there Jill is a kid and her sister left (was at the start of ep. 7 I think, definitely in season 2) it is clearly visible that she might be approximately 6 to 10 years older. Jill is a kid around maybe 10 and Lana is a teenager (maybe around 16 to max. 20 years old).

Hello Doc, I have a two-part query: - Would you consider (probably after you complete all seasons) re-writing\re-drawing some of the visuals (and scenes) showing the frat houses from the outside? What I mean is that when you started developing the game, you used some stock models of the houses, but during some scenes and free roams (for example in the DIK masion) we see that the configuration of the rooms and different areas doesn't correspond to the "stock model" images from the outside (put aside the house plans from the minigame). 'Discperancies' of this kind are present for the DIKs mansion from several points of view, but not exclusively since we also see that the front-side facade of HOTs mansion (as presented in ep.1 campus tour with Maya and in ep.7 when showing how many jocks were thrown away from the HOT mixer-party) is different from what we see from the inside. So basically the first part of my query is, if you plan to make some minor alterations of such details in future? Besides that several times during the game so far we see some that there are some 'wild' areas around the mansions (with no streets, no buildings, no yards) anid it gives the impression that the campus area consists of one main street (and a max of two or three 'intersections'). And it leads me to the second part of my query: - Would you consider making a map of campus area during future development of the game or maybe as a side content, let's say like a bonus or stuff, or possibly even go one step further and consider some kind of virtual walk through campus, showing the location of the most important places from the story's perspective (like DIK, HOT, Preps, Alphas, B&R building with dorms annex etc.) ? And in relation to the first part of my query, would you probably consider creating some 360-degree map of DIKs mansion from both inside and outside (and possibly do one of HOTs mansion interior, hehe) ? So this is what was bugging me for some time already. I know that my question appear to be very long, and I'm sorry about that. I wish you a lot of patience and tons of inspiration for the year and the development cycle to come!

There are obviously SO many potential endings, so many threads of storyline to tie up and with every venture into another characters plot the choices become even more varied. On the other hand, I should imagine the game is probably a bigger revenue stream from patreon than publishers only selling final versions after x number of chapters: so, finally my question: Are you considering this now more as a story to end (as with Acting Lessons where all the endings tied together in their own way) or as an ongoing saga where you can just explore more each chapter for the time being? While replaying episode 9, I was reminded of a spooky sighting when the power is cut during Halloween. in the main party room on the left, there is a girl holding a stuffed animal. Unlike most party goers who are disoriented by the darkness, she's eerily looking right at the MC. I can't find this character anywhere else in the party. That's kinda crazy, right? I think this is what distinguishes the game from all others. There is a real plot with a rich story thought out into very small details that is enhanced with lewd scenes and NOT only lewd scenes with a medicore story around them. The details are also showing in the renders. Some little stories are there sometimes in the background without even being mentioned by text. Some of them I only see in repeated playthroughs (for example in the library, where MC keeps the inventory in the background or at the Halloween party, where this police guy fumbles with the beer bottle and is thrown out by MC).

Not at all a question just an observation. Dude - your attention to detail is freaking amazing from a storytelling perspective. I just went back to play from the beginning, and in one of the very early episodes when Jacob stops you from hooking up with Sage in public, he alludes someone other than Chad finding out about it if it happened in public. You had the Jade reveal set up all the way back in Season 1. The planning is absolutely impeccable. This is just one example, I've found so many little dialogue pieces from early on in the game that foreshadow major reveals and events later on.

In case you don’t know, the past two chapters took a year each. That’s with beefed up computers. I feel that a rough guess of a year is likely. Apparently the chapters were about twice a year before. The complexity of the story to make each path fulfilling likely adds to the time so I would be amazed if chapter 11 took less than a year at this point unless branches got trimmed. (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!)

My question, is Being a DIK like real life for relationships, that there are no guarantee relationships in Being a DIK, whether it is the MC's relationship or any other relationship , for example Tommy and Heather, that any relationship in Being a DIK has the potential to break up.

You mention your notes and flowcharts a lot in previous QnA's. I'm wondering, do you store your plans like these digitally or are they handwritten? And if they are digital, do you ever find printing them out as physical copies that you can annotate and have them to hand whilst doing other tasks such as writing without breaking workflow too much helps?

A lot of Patron creators will provide long term subscribers a key for the STEAM release. I requested one from DrPinkCake, but haven't received a response, so I'm not sure what this developers stance is on the matter. Usually, they have a threshold for how long you need to have contributed to warrant receiving a key.

I'm curious about changes you have made during the game's development. I know that the general plot of the game is planned out, but you still write events, dialog and such when you develop a new episode. Could you give an example for a recent major scene (let's say episode 8, 9 or 10), which you had already planned in the early stages of the game's development and implemented exactly or pretty close to how you had envisioned it? And then, could you give an example of another such scene, which you have implemented rather differently than you had originally planned? And if so, what were the reasons for the change? If no such scene exists (or you don't want to give it away for whatever reason), a more minor scene could work as well. Thanks!

Patreon is not technically buying the game FYI you are getting access in exchange for that months support of the game it doesn't let you get future patches etc without maintaining the tier GOG and Steam will still be the main way you buy the game from a legal standpoint

Seeing your work, you seem extremely knowledgeable in a range of fields so wide that I can't imagine all of them being covered in depth in a single college program. If you feel comfortable sharing, what was your main degree from College? In what field did you receive formal education, and which fields, from the tasks that are required for the BaDIK's production, did you learn them by yourself up to the required level to achieve the quality standards that the game has?

the issue there is the game is still off of the main plot so all the branching flavors that core so you would still need the entire core of the episode just missing the branching making it feel like why did you do x girl's branch first

Obviously you have the overall story for the game and for each episode planned out, but how much do you change or add to it during development, for example adding another scene for a character that has become popular with the players (or change the girl), adding a scene to further character development or even just adding/changing a scene on a whim because you feel it might be better this way?

Why is there an uptick as of late to push seemingly unimportant elements in scenes a certain way? A perfect example is Anal being the only option in certain lewd scenes. If this was just with the "side" tracks, I get it, but not the mains, especially when other mains have almost every option under the sun.

The relationships with the mains and others is very complex and thought out, when you planed their original back stories did you plan on it being this complex and thoughtful or has this been something you have done as you’ve created more episodes?

In the past you've mentioned that the branching plotlines, and individual girl paths are one of the main time consumers and challenges when it comes to the development. Have you considered an alternative release method to regular episodes? Something like updates for individual branching paths? What would be the pros and cons of such approach?

Hi! So my question is kinda simple I sometimes get the vibe that either Rio or Quinn can sometimes feel like main girls if that makes sense, and with the recent episode there was a great deal of character development for Rio (my favorite). Are you pushing those two into a more main roll?
