While they remain open for many days, I don't believe I've seen one that wasn't decided in the first couple of hours after it's posted. I voted on this poll within a couple hours of it being posted, and #1 was already in the lead by that point. Since then the margin has remained almost exactly the same. I'm not a statistician, but I wonder if it's common for polls to be virtually decided after the first couple hundred votes.
