Weekly Update - 7/23/25
Added 2025-07-25 05:59:35 +0000 UTCI should've had a news update up yesterday, but I was off seeing my very first concert at Red Rocks (which is impressive, considering I've seen over 300 concerts in my lifetime). If you aren't familiar with Andrew McMahon in any of his various incarnations (Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Andrew McMahon and/or Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness) then I'd recommend listening to his stuff. (Start with "Played In Space: The Best of Something Corporate" and go from there.) I've been following Andrew's career since '02, back when his band Something Corporate was barely out of high school. I've met him a couple of times and he's always been incredibly gracious and humble. This was him getting to place 30+ songs of all of his projects with all his friends, and despite the huge climb up to Red Rocks, it was entirely worth it.
I got out a new chapter of Quaranteam: Phil's Tale last night as well, and that's been a while coming. I'm going to keep chipping away at the backlog and putting stuff out, but I do have prereleases to run this weekend as well. That said, once those are done, I don't have any traveling on my schedule until September, so I'll try to get us back into rhythms again. I'll find some way to squeeze in another release before Sunday night.
There's also a number of (new) people who have been querying me about starting up their own Quaranteam stories. We've been working on a new process for those people to go through, so if you're expecting to hear back from me, please be patient. Lots of spinning plates right now, and I'm doing my best to keep them all above water.
Anyway, I'm tired and I'm going to crash early tonight so I can get a bright fresh start tomorrow.
(EDIT: I was so tired I forget to include the upcoming public releases. Lemme fix that - 7/26 - Pack 15, Neon Stonehenge 12; 8/2 - Captains' Days 4, Silversmith 5; 8/9 - QTUM 6, QT2:35.)
