Story Request Guidelines

(or: "So, you want your favorite fapfiction dubbed?")

One of the primary features of Swell Reads is the ability for anyone to request anything!

...well, almost anything. There are a few rules to take into consideration before making a request:

• Make sure I actually see your request.

A handful of recommended places to post your request include the discord server's #story-requests channel (as seen here) , my discord DMs, patreon messages, or by noting me on my personal deviantArt. If you submit a request to anywhere that isn't these places, you risk having me not even see your request at all, let alone having it dubbed.

•  Check your story's length. 

All too often, I see people unknowing posting stories thousands of words above the accepted limit. 

Said limit is 5000 words for any given story. Wordcounter.net is a useful tool to check the length of a story.

Word limit does not apply to patrons subscribed to the $15 tier or above.

• What we WON'T dub. 

We absolutely will not dub the following: Furry, male, scat, diapers, rape, incest, bestiality, gore, pedo, other wackass shit, floor tiles.

And brief reasoning for each:

Furry - Too polarizing, strays too close to bestiality. Monster girls (humans with a handful of animal-like features, non-mammalian creatures such as mermaids and aliens) are fine, however.

Male - We don't plan on using male VAs very often outside of comic dubs. This doesn't mean that there literally cannot be male characters in your requested story, but it does mean that the male cannot expand in the large majority of cases.

Scat, rape, diapers, incest, bestiality, gore - Generic gross things that I don't want to feature here.

Pedo - I separate this from the other gross things due to the nature of what we do. Unlike artists who can easily slap boobs and a few inches in height onto whatever character and say "yeah she's 18+ bro", that's not quite as easy with stories. To reduce the amount of arguments over the disparity between how characters appear and their canon age, I will judge characters as pedo or not based on if they reasonably look like an adult.

If in doubt, just suggest a story with a curvy 'n chubby christmas cake instead. Ara ara.

Other wackass shit - No, we're not reading your Loud House fanfiction. 

Floor tiles - deadass 🅱

• What we MIGHT dub.  

There's a good handful of fetishes that fall into a grey area between vanilla, wholesome, fun-for-the-whole-family expanding titties and SICKO MODE. Many of these fetishes are perfectly acceptable for Swell Reads, albeit featured far less commonly. Several examples include:

Tentacles - Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine. 

BDSM - Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine.

Gas -  Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine. 

MtF TF - Must primarily focus on the growth of female features (such as breast/ass expansion) rather than shrinking/disappearance of male features. FtM TF is not allowed.

Sizeplay - Giantess is fine as-is, shrinking must be paired with some form of expansion.

Vore - This is fine. Emphasis on the belly getting bigger is preferred.

Pregnancy - Hyperpreg is usually preferred.

Multiboob -  Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine. Usually falls under breast expansion as-is anyway. 

Clothing/suit inflation -  Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine. 

Bimboification -  Must be paired with some form of expansion, but is otherwise fine. 

Other transformations -  The more expansion-related it is, the more likely it'll be accepted. Alternatively, can be paired with some form of "vanilla" expansion.

• Be specific!  

This one's more of a suggestion rather than a rule, but it's recommended that you specify what you want for your dub. This ensures that there aren't any misinterpretations on my or the voice talent's ends. Things that you may feel inclined to detail are:

Characters -  What each character's general demeanor is. A big fat himedere tittymonster probably won't have a spunky schoolgirl voice, for example.

Samples - Posting voice clips provides a clearer idea of what you want a voice to sound like; this is especially true when it comes to stories based off existing properties.

VA - Each voice actress sounds very different from one another. Trina doesn't sound the same as Monstrassa, and Monstrassa doesn't sound the same as Ko. You can view a list of our current voice talent here: [link].
