Casual Wednesday Afternoon Announcement Hour

First off, I'll start with the one that affects you all the most. Well, at least 5 of you.

At some undetermined point in the future (most likely when Currently Unnamed Big Project gets a lil further along), I want to change the $15, $30, and $60 tiers to something more "passive". A free X or Y commission is basically the most direct reward you can get, and also the most time-consuming. I'd want the new tiers to be something of equal or greater value that you can take advantage of without as much input required. Early access to things is a common and very passive one you see on a lot of patreon pages, for example. If any of you premium-tier patrons have ideas, shoot them towards me and I'll consider. Very open to suggestions from people actually in the tiers.

$5 might change too idk. I'll probably take out the SFX stories bit soon and just have it be "your requests go right to the top" or something.

As for that so-called "Currently Unnamed Big Project"... here are some current working titles:

• [something something or another] City
• Pneumatic Civil Uprising
• Full-Figured Jacket (lol)
• The Caged Bird Chronicles
• Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7^2: Steel Blimp Run: Chipwrecked

They all kinda suck, except for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7^2: Steel Blimp Run: Chipwrecked of course. That's the one I'm going with.

I don't want to give away too much, but I've been mulling over a lot of things about the story itself. What good is a title if there's nothing behind it, anyhow?

• There's more to the story than a vague "semi-dystopian" description now. Wowza! 
• The general plot's about 50% sorted, assuming I stick with 2 acts as currently planned. Act 1 is the setup (with plenty of "the good stuff" sprinkled in, you feel me?) while shit hits the fan over the course of act 2.
• Currently 2 main characters and 1 secondary character are planned for act 1. Act 2 is much less developed than act 1 at this point in time, but knowing what happens in act 1, I imagine there'll be more supporting characters during act 2.
• Worldbuilding vs OMG PORN!!! is something that I've especially been thinking about a lot. I may just leave most of the worldbuilding off to the side as an optional thing for people to read over if they're interested, I know you're out there.
• I have some radical changes in mind for the overall format. This is the part I reaaally don't want to spoil too much as of yet, but I'm hoping to widen the scope for this project so that it isn't just "Oh look name 'total asshole' taken is flooding the Patreon with his bajillion part story. Lovely." Remember: I want to make this special. The more out-of-the-ordinary this is from our other content, the better.
• Maybe you'll see Trina in it after all.

Oh yeah and I edited the goals again because some of them are either irrelevant at this point or not used at all. 

• $225's "Story and art" giveaways weren't happening so I removed the tier outright.
• I'll tentatively say that giveaways will be done every 2-4 months (not decided yet, might go with 3) instead of every 1 month like I had originally intended with the goal. Once every month would have definitely burnt everyone (both the contestants and writers) out after the second or third time around, lol. Expect a new contest to be announced tomorrow. If you've read this far into the post, you deserve the heads-up.
• $375 was also removed. I'm paying the VAs more per recording now ($15 -> $20 per recording), making the "two bonus stories" redundant at best and detrimental at most. The payment bump is intended to encourage the VAs to record more. 
• "Both 'official' and community-submitted characters will be featured in this feature-length adventure, created as a loveletter to everyone who made this possible." was removed from the "$450" (in scare quotes because I'm going through with it regardless of how low the patreon dips or how high it reaches) goal because it straight up does not work with what I have in mind. Prease understandu. I want to include some more no-pricetag-attached interaction in some form to substitute... but that is something I still need to figure out. 
• As of writing this, I will still be obligated to post Kirby Air Ride let's plays if we somehow reach $750 before I come up with a specific idea. Don't test me.
• Coincidentally, removing the $225 and $375 goals puts all the goal thresholds at an even $150 apart each. Hmm.

I have some more to announce about the commission sheet and VAs, but I'll leave it there for now so this doesn't turn into more of a textwall than it already is.
