Weekly Update - 9/20/23

Back from vacation, and California's on fire all over again. It's been a wild couple of days, with me having to provide a bunch of rides for friends to SFO, which has eaten up a ton of the last three days, as several of them either go out of vacation or taking surprise trips in an effort to get aware from the bad air of the Bay Area right now, which, I get. Believe me, I get. Our AQI here in the South Bay has been over 100 for the last two days, and as such, doing anything that even vaguely involves going outside has been miserable.

I'm going to really try and push through getting as much as I can do of commissions work this week. I dropped a chapter of A Pack Of His Own in both the Alpha readers section and the all readers section, but I'm not quite finished getting the next chapter off to the commissioner of that story - hopefully tomorrow? The first few pages came fast and then it slowed down again. And then I'm going to rotate into trying to work on other commissioned stuff, in addition to starting work on the next part of Amor Ex Machina, which won the poll on what I'm writing for Friday. I'm looking forward to.

If you're waiting on me to look at stuff you're developing for your own spinoff of Quaranteam, please be patient with me - there's been quite a lot of it coming in lately, and I'm trying to read through it and offer help when I can, but there has been quite a bit of stuff coming in lately. I will get to it, I promise, but it's going to take a little longer than usual. Also, add in the fact that the Cyberpunk patch drops tomorrow, and I want to spend a bit of time with that. I've promised myself, though, that I'll still spend a sizable amount of time each day writing, so expect to see stuff in Neon Stonehenge and QT:AA coming in the reasonably near future, and next week, we'll have both Brewster's Brood and Breakpoint, because I'm bad at planning this month. Hah. I know there's been a break in Devil's Details, and that's on me, but we should get back to having chapters of that next month.
