Weekly Update - 3/1/23

What a crazy week it has been. After getting the book launched over at Amazon, having gone through the challenge of getting signed books up and for sale (two attempts taken!) and getting author copies ordered and sent to the house, I took last night off to have a good many drinks, so my rum bill thanks you for that. I had spent basically all of the weekend plus Monday getting it formatted, structured and shaped.

But no time to dawdle. Still work left to be done. There are a couple of commissions outstanding from last month that are top of the priority list right now, but I'm going to also make a point to have the new Before The Storm chapter up on Friday, which was supposed to be done for Tuesday (and was voted on by the Tier 4s+). 

Also, starting this month, we have a new commissioner who is upping the number of Brewster's Brood chapters per month to 2. That means you'll get a dose of BB early in the month and a second dose late in the month, and the second one won't take a regular release slot, so it'll just dropped out randomly, like most of the other commissioned work does. I was hoping to start that last month, but getting the last steps of the book done just ate up so much time I warned the commissioner it was likely to be March before I could get ramped up for that. But now that Book One is done, I'm (probably) just going to let it remain as it is, warts, typos and all. The amount of time spent on getting the print version as great as possible really did eat into a lot of my free time over the last few months. I might do one quick replacement upload to correct a couple of early typos, but hey, those of you who have versions with the typo in the foreword, maybe those'll be collector's editions or something. 

Those of you who have ordered signed copies of Book One, they are currently scheduled to ship from the Bay the day after they arrive to me (Amazon is currently predicting I will have them sometime between March 14th-17th, so I'll ship out literally the day after I get them). I have to practice my new signature for a bit first!

There will be two chapters of QTB2 this month, and the first one of the two will be our first intermission, before we'll be back for QT2:6 near the end of the month.

Public releases schedule needed a bit of tweaking - since QT50 was so damn big (it was even bigger than QT20!), I decided to let the public sites just have that by itself: 3/4 Janus Coins: John's Story 4, Quaranteam: Phil's Tale 11, 3/11 - The Devil's Details 4, 3/18 - Before The Storm 3, 3/25 - Si Verax Sum 1.
