Weekly Update - 2/8/23

Is it just me, or does it still feel weird writing "2023" on dates of things? I know there's a little bit of that every year, but this year feels particularly egregious. No idea quite why. 

Spent most of today writing in things that either you won't see (i.e. internal reference notations for QT) or stuff you'll see eventually, but still a ways off (i.e. commissioned works that the commissioner will eventually feel satisfied enough with for release) but will start work tomorrow on the next chapter of Morgana's Gift for Friday. I'll also throw up the poll for what am I writing for 2/28 for anyone at that tier level. 

February's going to be a weird month and there will be a few extra releases creeping in here and there, so keep your eyes on whatever you use to track updates (the Patreon app, email, etc.) for when new content drops. We'll talk more about why those happened after they happen. I'm feeling genuinely pretty productive right now, though, so I'll keep cranking away at things and you can keep on enjoying them as you see fit.

The game plan is still to get a fully updated and revised Book 1 to you folks before the end of the month, and I'll probably spend some time over the next couple of days trying to get the cover into shape and going through the very tail end of editing, but we're close. Once it's in print, I feel like it'll be set in stone and I can't really tinker with it anymore, so I want to be sure we've done as much as we can to have it in shape. 

Very special thanks to BreaktheBar, who's been indescribably helpful in getting the timeline hammered down across all the stories, in addition to cranking out the excellent QT: North West, which is definitely worth your time to read. The new version of QTB1 has chapter heads with dates and everything, but some of the chapters cross multiple days, so the date at the chapter heading is just where the chapter starts and not necessarily where it ends.

Anyway, that's all behind the scenes stuff, and who knows how many of you are interested in how the sausage is made. If you're interested in trying to spot a wild Dev, I'll be in the audience at The Fillmore in San Francisco to see Ride & The Charlatans in just a few weeks, wearing my guillotine necklace as always. I'm a huge fan of both bands, so the two of them playing together at my favorite venue? Slam dunk.

There was a delay in getting Before The Storm 2 over to Literotica (my fault, not theirs) but it should be up there shortly, and if not, it's been up at MCStories since Saturday.
