Weekly Update - 7/6/22

Thanks to everyone who reminded me to take a vacation here and there, and while I haven't fully done that, taking yesterday off from the release schedule has allowed me to work towards getting caught up on stuff that had backed up because of Day Job Stuff that sprung up last month. I expect I will have the next chapter of Morgana's Gift on time for Friday, 7/8, and should be fully caught up with all commissions by Saturday or Sunday, and special thank you to commissioners for being understanding about the delay. There was a hole to climb out of in terms of work piling up, but I think I'm nearly at the breakeven point and will start moving towards being ahead of schedule instead of behind sometime soon.

I know a lot of people thought Piper's Prelude 3 was pretty dark, but I can assure you, it ain't at rock bottom yet. 4 is the worst of the worst, but I've finished writing that now, and am working on finishing up 5, just as a sort of palate cleanser, to get my head out of the dark trials and tribulations that character went through. I'd been spending so much time in that, I just wanted to get that all through my head and committed to paper, and there's been something cathartic about writing Andy's letter to Piper down finally. 4 will be released to Patrons late this month, and 5 will come out in August. The first chapter just hit public sites this past weekend, and the others will continue to slowly trickle out as well.

I'm going to throw up a poll right after this to determine what I'm writing for 7/19. For those of you want to see any particular story featured more often in rotation, let me remind you that Tier 4s and up wield immeasurable power, as it's a relatively small number of people voting each month, and one vote can often tip the scales between one option or the other. People sometimes ask me "How do I get you to write more chapters of (Story X) sooner and faster?" and this is the absolute way to do it.

Fan votes are going to determine both of the open slots of August, as I'm going to use some previously commissioned private works to fill in while I'm traveling internationally. The first chapter of The Devil's Details will drop on 8/19, and the first chapter of Quaranteam: McCallister's Madness will drop on 8/23, and let me tell you, if you think Covington is a prick, just wait until you get some more insight into the shitass that is Adam McCallister.

Next week will be a two-fer of Quaranteam content, with Quaranteam 47 dropping on Tuesday, 7/12, and Quaranteam: Phil's Tale 9 dropping on Friday, 7/15. Remember, July will be the last month with two main storyline Quaranteam chapters in it for a while, with Quaranteam 48 on the schedule for 7/29. This month's profile/scene will coincide with the release of 48. Then it will probably be 1 QT chapter a month for the rest of the year, and maybe even a little into the beginning of next year. That'll also help some of the other stories get a bit more time in the rotation.

For those of you reading the Brewster's Brood story, I'm sure many of you noticed the last post also included our introduction to the ten women in Delta Group, who we will start to see soon.  The next chapter of that drops 7/26 and will include both a sex scene with Jenny and a profile of Jenny for those backers of the Tier 3 level and higher, as voted on by you.

For my readers strapped for cash, the public release schedule for the next month or so looks approximately like this: 7/9 - Quaranteam: Phil's Story 6, 7/16 - The Seven Secrets of Mr. Magpie 1, 7/23 - Quaranteam 42, 7/30 - Quaranteam: Piper's Prelude 2, 8/6 - Quaranteam 43.

Also, in the tail end of our news, I got my eyes checked and while my prescription has gotten a little stronger, the biggest takeaway from the appointment was to just get comfortable taking off my glasses when I'm reading and writing. Getting old sucks. I don't advise anyone do it if you can help it. Stay young forever. That's where it's at.
