Weekly Update - 5/11/22

So If I'm honest about If I'm Honest, I should've realized when I started Chapter 10 that it was going to be multiple parts and warned people accordingly, but now you know, as part 2 went up, and I'm guessing it's probably 2 more parts before it's done, but I might be able to lock it down in 1. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, If I'm Honest 10b is out and live now, and we'll be back around to it soon enough.

I'm trying to get ahead on commissions and trying to do spring cleaning around the house, which means I'm probably working on too many things at once, but the only way you find your limits it by pushing up to them. I'll have Brewster's Brood on Friday or Saturday. I'm going to aim for Friday, but I know deadlines have been a little wonky lately.

Next week will be Phil's Tale and I'm thinking the second chapter of Mr. Magpie for 5/20, since I very much got a clear idea of what's in that chapter, and that usually means it's ready to be written, and that I'm not going to be wracking my brain on how to do the scene. I think people will have loads of fun with it.

I'm going to throw up the poll for 5/27 over the next couple of days, and we'll see what people want from that week. I'm also going to make an exception on that poll, and if people want to vote on If I'm Honest 10c, that'll be an option, and I'll also leave Mr. Magpie on the list, so if people want to vote for that, they can. Voters, make your power known.

If you didn't go see Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and you like Sam Raimi movies AT ALL, you should go see it, because it's a Sam Raimi movie first and foremost. It feels like it could be the long lost cousin of Army of Darkness. It's almost a horror film. I loved the hell out of it, and will probably go see it a second time.

Also, the Biffy show was fantastic, so fantastic that I'm going to leave you with another song of theirs. They're great. You should be listening to them. There's something incredibly powerful about the lyric "We're always running scared / but holding knives..." that I love.
