Colorshifting armor

I've just uploaded in the post below the next tutorial about painting the Steel Rook.
I had a perfectly good idea for this model, and then I thought that maybe it's time to forget about safe ideas, and try out something original, and that's why I painted his armor located around his waist in this very weird way.
I painted all of this with acrylic paints and a brush, there are no magic tricks in here!
I hope you like how it looks like.
Soon I plan to make a video tutorial about painting those colorshifting "feathers", so stay tuned!
