SoGIV - Demo Update
Added 2023-01-03 07:56:25 +0000 UTCOn December 12th, I released the very first look at my attempt to take a fresh look and work on a new version of the game that takes everything I've learned so far from the last year of game development. The story and nearly all of the dialog was already there, this was a review of the presentation of it all.
Since then, I was on a full week vacation away from the computer, yet since I'm just adding everything back in, there has been a lot of code in the background put back in. About another hundred common events, the remaining features needed to complete Act I of the main story, some of the new enemies, and at least mapping out quite a lot of the new theme specific skills to be used in combat. I've also opened up a specific discord channel to help discuss and brainstorm the full implementation of the new encounter system.
Here's the next iteration of the new Secrets of Gaia IV. Still a work in progress and adding everything existing back in. As always, I appreciate feedback and suggestions.
