Roadmap for v0.6

I'm enjoying the longer development cycles. By planning to release every two to three weeks instead of every weekend, I can focus on more new content. 


I'm finishing up concepts for the last two maps for Act III. The story itself is concept-finished and ready to implement. With the wg illustrations already complete, that means I can unlock the third act for supporters as soon as they're done.


The skill revamp has already inspired more additions, and there could be some tweaking to the damage formulas. The counterpart to this was encounter revamps. The overall plan is to also add some variances to the types of encounters the character is dealing with depending on the story the player selects. RPG Maker only makes map or region wide random encounters, and not based off of switches or variables. That's where my plan comes in to possibly remove random encounters altogether, and move to more of a scanning minigame. Event based encounters allow me to have better control on the monsters, some events that can happen in battle, as well has better control over the rewards. That also means more rewards. I want to add the feature that scanning minigames can also find random data and gatherables without encounters, and even discover hidden things.

As for other game styles, do you have your fingers crossed? Did you keep them crossed from my last post? Well, keep them crossed. The Pregnancy illustrator has finished the first commission of 3 drawings. Waiting for them to be ready for the next commission, because then I would have enough to unlock the Act I Pregnancy content!

I've also connected with a comic artist that was willing to dab into NSFW art, and they're doing the hourglass story. This artist is a pro; they said that they've been tackling the whole 10 sequences and has several sketches ready for review and inking.
Plus, I've pitched an ending cutscene for the wg story to that illustrator, and they loved the idea. So it's likely that by the end of April, the WG story will be not only fully complete, but including an ending cutscene as a bonus.

Finally on the immediate roadmap, when another gameplay is unlocked by having sufficient illustrations for it, I'll revamp the tutorial so that the gameplay story can be picked from the start.

Expected release? Everything on this list that is not relying on illustrations are coming together and could be mostly done next weekend. I'll be targeting the weekend of April 23rd-24th, also to hopefully add the chance to open up at least one new gameplay option for you supporters.
