Floral Freehand part 2

This week I'm finally on time and I have for you the second video tutorial about painting freehand on the cloak of Chaplain Tarentus.
This one is about creating 3d embroided effect on it's surface.
As you can hear and see I made a few improvements since the last video.
I invested in a professional microphone and I edited the sound more then even in order to give you much better quality.
I also speeded big parts of the video where I kept doing the same things that were already presented and explained.
I hope that this changes will make the experience of watching my tutorial better :)

I would recommend you to stop using medium, and just add a tiny amount of Retarder. I use retarder from vallejo and with practice it can make your brustrokes look more blurry. Experiment with it to see how much makes your paint work better for you. In my case it's different amount in each situation.

2021-03-13 03:27:50 +0000 UTCDo you use a dry retarder? I feel like I try to work shades and blends, but when I spend any length of time, I get really bad brush strokes... I use a wet palette, I use an acrylic medium, but I just can't keep it that smooth
