Hagbards back

Hello,

as of now you can find on my patreon a new step-by-step tutorial on which I presented and explained how I painted the back of Hagbard.

In the tutorial you can find very big pictures and and of course the list of colors and all the mixes I used.

I hope you will enjoy it ;)

Regards

Erik I used this pre shading technique a few times in the past. Its just the matter of deciding if you prefer do it and later paint shadows with darker color or you prefer painting white highlights with a brush. It's ok, but it also works a bit different because the light doesn't necessarily shine in the same places where you will have white sprayed paint. Magnus is at this moment on hold, I already spent over 100hours on the wings and they are so time consuming I just had to stop working over him for a moment. But when I will be close to finish them I will record a new video and a new pdf tutorial about painting them because now I have a better lens in my photo camera and I know how to record videos better. I wish I could just sit and finish him, I even like working on his wings, but I just don't have time for it at this moment.

Question do you ever use pre shading aka priming a miniature black and then using a white spray from either a spray can or airbrush, to preshade the model?? Also how far are you with Magnus´ s wings from your last post on them, it would seem like you are more or less done with the feathers. Any plans on when you will do the rest of the wing? Also interesting skin recipe, i think it might be useful at painting Artel "W" Miniatures Red Angel bust.

I will, don't worry :)

Flameon Miniatures

will you make a video tutorial about it?
