Painting the base of Lord of Contagion part 2

today I have for you the last of my tutorials about creating the base for Lord of Contagion.
This time I decided to try to create something less standard and more fantastic/magical.
During creating this base I was inspired by a Magic The Gathering card called "Golgari locket" and I tried to transfer the atmosphere of mushrooms and green light into the base.
I hope you like the final effect :)

Excellent work as always! Have you ever tried using ink instead of paint when you're adding color to water effects? The extra transparency might be good.
