Battle damaged armor on a Lord of Contagions leg

Hello! Today I have for you a new video tutorial on which I presented and explained how I painted the battle damaged armor on a leg of Lord of Contagion.

In the upcoming week (before Friday) I will record the second part of this tutorial in order to present to you how to paint the rest elements that I couldn't finish on this video.

I also started working on short videos for my 12$ patrons so October will bring you a lot of content.

I hope you are happy with my work and will decide to stay with me for a bit longer ;)

Regards

Maciek

I rarely use such effects but the rust effect so I don't know much about them :D In the end I feel that with my style of painting I should stick to make glaze with brown paint :D

I keep my older brushes that are no longer suitable for acrylic painting for applying enamel or oil weathering effects. They are more accurate than clay shapers.

Amazing technique. I want to try and replicate on Mortarian so I wanted to ask how do you decide where the brightest parts should be? Its a complicated pose so a lot of his legs are under cloaks

This tiny tool can save life of your brushes, its very useful :)

Would never have considered using a vinyl clay shaper (rubber brush) for applying enamel effects. That was a real surprise! Great video
