Brass and the breastplate

Since now you can find here a video tutorial on which I presented and explained from the beginning to the end how I painted breastplate of Lord of Contagion.
Working with brass nmm was a great fun and I will definitely use it more often.
Ps. these picture are cut from the frames of the tutorials and they present the image quality of the video. I'm recording my tutorials with the biggest close up to make sure that my patrons can see exactly what is happening under the tip of my brush.

Its darker because of his position <a href="https://i.redd.it/yplrz176txpz.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://i.redd.it/yplrz176txpz.jpg</a> its going to be in a deeper shadow then the legs. And as I described its brass, not gold. I will also apply a bit of scratches on the brestarmor, patine on brass, paint more copper, and more brass. I'm pretty sure I don't have to use just one type of metal on a miniature ;)

2018-09-21 18:37:28 +0000 UTCQuestion since the legs are white wouldn´t the breastplate also be white? Or is it gray because the arms will cover it?? I am also surprised that you used gold on the breast plate since the rest of the metal piece looks like they are made out of bronze. This is not a critique merely something i am a little curious about, since the breastplate almost looks like it´s from a different miniature given the way it´ s painted. But great work none the less.
