Painting eagle on the cloak

today I have for you a new video on which I presented and explained how I painted right side of the eagle on Valoris' cloak. Thanks to this video you should learn how to paint freehands (I'm not sure how else it can be called in this situation when the shape of the eagle was already there) in a way that creates structure of the material as well. I hope you will enjoy this video and it will be useful for you.
Ps. I'm sorry for the lack of energy in my voice but for over a week now my father is fighting for his life in a hospital and this is very hard time for me to record a videos. I tried my best.

Sorry one more question regarding this topic. So you airbrush the model with VMC Black without priming?

2018-06-08 11:27:18 +0000 UTCI'm making small layer of black paint with primmer because for some reason these new citadel sprays are making horrible things to miniatures, they create structure on the surface etc. Then I paint it with Vallejo for better covering and because its more glossy.

2018-06-07 13:30:00 +0000 UTCGreat as always though maybe it´s just me who has the wrong view of freehand, but to me free hand would be if you painted some pattern on it that wasn´´ t already there. The eagle seems to already have been molded into the cape from the start, so i´t´s not freehand in my book. But again that just might be me and it´s a great video as always.
