Magnus red leg part 1: Airbrushing

Hi,

this is the first video about painting Magnus' red skinned leg.

Tomorrow I will present to you how I'm painting details on it to create better looking contrast. Then I will also present to you how much I'm diluting my paints.

Ps. let me know if the noise of an airbrush is acceptable.

I've seen people painting very small lines using an airbrush. t all comes with practice :)

1. White was almost completely covering the whole leg. 2.second red I used for making the better color of the leg, Ferrari Red is a great color 3. The leg is not finished yet, I already made a part 2 video about painting it, and It will be uploaded today.

It was very hard to see the shading in this video. It seemed like white was completely covering everything except a bit below the knee, is this correct or was there still some black left in the recesses? I couldn't spot it. Also the second red didn't change the color a lot as far as I could see. The black shading was a lot more clear though. What was the reason for using the airbrush instead of the method you used on the face?

Great video. I recently bought an airbursh. I first tought I can use it for basing and big pieces but I now see it has a lot of possibilities but it's a new technique so it means practice.
