Yall have a very mononormative and heterosexual view on relationships and families. Raising kids communally is something practiced in many cultures and in the queer communit, friends often become the donor of sorts to give the gift of a child to their friends. Queer community and love is more expansive than mononormative heterosexual culture. Polyamorous people, queer people, people who believe in relationships outside of the “norm” in the US exist and are capable of raising balanced, informed, empathetic children. Just because it’s outside the normal doesn’t make it bad for the child. In fact, they will likely grow up to be less judgmental about others who have differences.
