2025-01-30 19:19:34 +0000 UTCIt WOULD be funny to see Varrus trying to balance all his Aspect duties as some sort of side quest tbh. Full disclosure, I see a future where the MC absorbs all the aspects and without spoiling to much, gets a massive boost.

If he kills Ysrea that leaves a wide open hole for a deadric prince to take her spot ruling the emerald dream because I dought Varrus is going to be doing it along with his already neglected aspect of time duties. 2. A lot of fanfics go down the same road of killing of the original cast to replace them with OCs and it just feels disrespectful to the fans of the original.

2025-01-30 18:37:27 +0000 UTCAgreed. I may like the snark in the subtitle of the story but there's a certain point where murderhobo gets tired and un-nuanced. I do appreciate that we are getting to finally see through Varrus' eyes how Syra came to be the person she is which can only strengthen their marriage. Realistically, Syra's heart needs to heal from her torturous upbringing if she wants to actually be a sane mother. She is not sane. That is the biggest danger to her supposed 12 babies. She would smother them. The veritable "devouring mother." Then again it WOULD be consistent with the title of this story if she does die. I'm of mixed feelings. Like damn not another death from someone that didn't realize how much danger they were in. They deserved a wap to the head not death. The good thing is Karp is such a good writer that he can make either outcome work for this story and keep it consistent with the themes and quality up to now. Love your story Karp!
