My interpretation of the MV is that V plays a lonely sculpture, who finds that his statues can come to live - so he creates a love, and friends, and all that sort of stuff... but they can only exist in his big empty house, not out in the world. So, he kind of lives in this pretend world, where he has a bunch of pretend friends... and then the end, he finds that he himself is also a statue, created by before his own death - and he too is trapped in his house now.
