My order is fast forward, dumb dumb,birthday then ice cream . Idk you might like these songs what your waiting for , Anymore and XOXO . ☺️

2024-08-26 01:50:47 +0000 UTCIce Cream is not one of her best songs, to be fair, but when she performs it on the music stages, she lights it up like nobody's business! Her live vocals, dancing and charisma are top tier, she commands your attention from the beginning to the end - not every one is capable of doing that but she does. Hoping Black Label gives her attention/songs - they have a lot on their plate and Somi may be taking a back seat to their other priorities (it happens). Meanwhile, I believe she has brand ambassador, spokesperson and MC gigs that keeps her busy/in the public eye (good for her!). Keep an eye on Somi, she seems to be one of the good ones.

2024-08-26 00:53:38 +0000 UTCSo Somi appeared on Produce 101 almost immediately after Sixteen and was a hugely popular contestant on that show and debuted in I.O.I from that show (Chungha was also part of this group). That group was only active for like 7 months since at the time MNET didn’t know the temporary group would blow up the way it did, in a way it started the whole trend of mass survival shows debuting temporary groups of trainees from mutilple companies. So after I.o.i disbanded people were anticipating Somi’s debut as like the center of JYP’s new girl group (which eventually became ITZY) but then they suddenly announced she left the company and later signed with The Black Label. We kinda didn’t hear much from her for awhile post I.O.I so I feel like she lost a bit of traction because she was hugely popular during I.O.I. But I think she’s doing good now.

Produce 101 is essentially the same show as Boys Planet (it was rebranded for PR reasons after a scandal), and I suspect you’ll recognize many familiar faces on the show who have gone on to successful careers in the industry. Over four seasons, the show produced the groups IOI, WannaOne, Iz*One, and X1. I know you react to a lot of groups and may not be looking to slot in more long-form content, but if you’re looking for something to watch after you finish Boys Planet, Produce 101 is a great option!
