2024-08-30 10:30:44 +0000 UTCLiked Somi as the Master the most, she was warm, fun, knows how it feels being in a survival show. I dont doubt she gave probably way more good remarks/encouragement to the trainees that wasnt aired cuz everything cant be put in 1 episode which is already long enough. Honestly there were so many great and talented guys in BP. Most of the ones i liked got into top 18. Was sad for Haruto cuz i really liked him as well and he always stood out in performances to me. I love all the members of ZB1 i do, i cant imagine the group having diffrent members! But after i got into ZB1 and watched BP my favs watching were(even tho i knew the result), Sung Hanbin, Zhang Hao, Jay, Park Hanbin, Keita, Jongwoo, Matthew, Ricky, Gunwook. I loved all top 18 tho. Taerae, Seungeon the vocals, Kamden all of them are amazing. Jiwoong! Ah the finals were emotional i cried even tho i watched after the group was made, you feel attached to the trainees watching survior shows. I get to invested in this shows so at 1st i resisted and didnt want to watch BP or look ZB1 out at all. Cant wait for the final episode! P.s. i do love that so many guys from BP after the show made it and debut in groups! The one that i follow along side Zb1 is Onepact ( Jongwoo, Jay , Seongmin, TAG, and Yedam are in it).

2024-08-26 14:57:10 +0000 UTCAlso, just wanted to add, I think if Park Hanbin and Sung Hanbin were to both be in a group, the fans would probably still be referring to them as Phanbin and Shanbin. I don't think they ever acknowledged it but it was one of those things that fans all kinda agreed on as a way to differenitate which Hanbin you were talking about. I remember there was also a brief time (during the 2nd round performances) where people were referring to Wang Zihao and Park Hanbin as "Nugu HaoBin" because Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin were the original HaoBin ship. It was hilarious but felt kinda mean since they weren't exactly unpopular but compared to the other Haobin who were ranked 1 and 2, they were the less popular pair.

2024-08-26 14:25:01 +0000 UTCIDK why MNET chose to not mention Somi in I.O.I and Kim Jaehwan in Wanna One because they were both on Produce 101 and debuted through their groups. But when Hwang Minhyun appeared as Star Master in the episode 3, they did mention him being a part of Wanna One but not Nu'est. Anyways, I felt like that was a significant piece of info they didn't put in to the introduction of these 2 Star Masters. Anyways, Somi appeared on the 1st season of Produce 101 and that was not long after Sixteen ended so she had a fanbase going in to the show. Apparently MNET reached out to JYP Ent specifically for her, they initially rejected their offer since at the time, survival shows like these weren't really a big thing yet. But JYP Ent eventually did let Somi on the show and she was a star there and debuted with I.O.I. So when she said she hated the studio, it was referencing PD101. Jaehwan appeared on Produce 101 S2 as an individual trainee. He was definitely the vocal star of that season, like how people were wowed by Jay and Hui on Boys Planet, that was Jaehwan on PD101 S2. Very powerful vocalist and absolutely hilarious on variety shows. He started singing Energetic when he saw Hui which was his debut song that Hui produced.

2024-08-26 04:43:40 +0000 UTCI wouldn't change anything in ZB1, of course, but I felt the same about Keita and Jay, specifically. It's been so good to see all of them working & getting respect. I always hope the audition/survival programs will be an overall benefit to participants - because they'll get specialized training, stage and production experience, and they'll make connections that will be useful whether or not they win. It's definitely not always true, but I think it was for this one.

2024-08-26 00:57:10 +0000 UTCKeita was always in the top 9 during all the announcements. I felt so bad when he didn't make it. During the final, I think I felt bad all day for Keita and Jay. Just for your reference, during this elimination we had the opportunity to vote for 3 people, and for the final we could only vote for 1. So that just shows the importance of the one pick. By this episode, I was very worried about Matthew, so I was just voting Matthew. I also wanted to vote for Jay, I just voted for him once. :( The voting for the final was crazy, there were people doing all types of giveaways (very expensive ones) in exchange for votes. I saw people in southamerica giving ice cream in parks in exchange for votes, etc. I support everyone in the top 18, there is no need to hate on anyone. I think we can all agree, they all worked so hard. I think my second pick was Jongwoo, but by the final, I was also not able to vote for him. I'm so happy Jay and Jongwoo debuted together. I'm so happy all the top 18 were able to debut. I can't wait to see your reaction to Evnne, Onepact, Ampers&one, TOZ, TIOT, Jay solo, (I think you have already reacted to Hui's)

2024-08-26 00:52:10 +0000 UTCI didn't expect to fall for these guys as hard as I did - but watching everyone be so incredibly kind to each other won me over completely. (There was recently a BP mini-reunion at ISAC and it was so cool to see a bunch of them together again!) Woongki's parting words were excellent. I had already found him delightful but that let me see that he's fierce, too. He's a very good actor, it turns out, but I hope he continues to sing and dance if that's what he loves. I also really loved Jeon Somi as the host. She was so incredibly kind with them - taking the time to tell them they were good enough, saying that they shouldn't give up. She's a playful host, which is great - and she's so good at it! - but the overwhelming sense was that she was on everyone's side, and if I could feel that through the TV, they must have been able to feel it in person. I genuinely love the finale - there are a few specific moments I am SO EXCITED to watch with you :D

2024-08-26 00:29:05 +0000 UTC1:14:03 Yeah...The Say My Name drama took a HUGE toll on Matthew's reputation for people watching the show 😭 There were awful things being said about all the trainees but when that drama happened, the sheer amount of hate thrown on Matthew was crazy considering his performance in say my name was really good! People just always fall for Mnet's editing, I suppose.

Yes GFriend/VIVIZ Eunha and SinB’s their real name is Eunbi so they both go by a stage name and their stage name each takes a half of their actual name. Actually in Park Hanbin’s group EVNNE, Lee Jeonghyeon and Mun Junghyun are also part of the group. Their first name is the same in Korean but they don’t seem to go by a stage name, they differentiate it by spelling it different in English. There was also a group called Good Day (they redebuted as cignature) where they had 2 members named Kim Jiwon, one of them went by Genie and the other Jiwon.
