How did I miss this one? Oooh I've a couple of videos for a catch up binge - this is gonna be good! Regarding the comments she made about almost debuting in a six member group because you said you didn't know about this, she, Nayeon & Jeongyeon were going to debut in a group named 6Mix (JYP has a weird thing with numbers Won(One)der Girls, Twice, 2pm, 2am, Got7, Day6, 15&). Jihyo was known as Jisoo, which was her legal name at the time. The other girls who were going to be in the group were Lena, Cecelia & Minyoung. Lena was actually the one that first got me following them predebut. She was the featured rapper for Sunmi's first solo comeback, Full Moon in 2014 (predebut promo in advance of when they were supposed to debut in 2015). Cecelia left the company in 2015 not long before the group was going to debut. JYP was ALSO planning a Japanese girl group at the same time (MiSaMo + a japanese actress + Sika who's now in Fanatics. So they pulled Sana out of that group and put her with 6MIX (dissolving the Japanese group plans). But not long after THAT, Lena left as well. Which there must be A Reason if it was so close to filming the mv but it was never announced and Lena lives a private life now so we'll probably never know. So now BOTH of the trainee groups have kind of collapsed. So JYP launches Sixteen with majority the 4 remaining original 6Mixes, MiSaMo and throws in some of their younger trainees mostly to give them some predebut exposure. It did obviously result in Dahyun, Chaeyoung & Tzuyu debuting in the final group but they're the only ones whose debuts weren't kind of imminently planned. But really, most of them were just filler. Somi (now the Black Label soloist) was only 14 at the time and Natty (now Kiss of Life member) was only TWELVE. Didn't have a hope of debuting. It was just to embarass and humiliate those children on national tv.

2024-04-09 04:42:53 +0000 UTCTwice is a group known in kpop Industry as down to earth. despite their success they are still the humbled twice we know. everybody praised them from director,producer,cleaner or people behind the scene from tv show to awards show. I remember watching twice and rookie g idle interaction in award show. Twice did the first move by talking to themπ. They treat their juniors very well from straykids,itzy,niziu,nmix like giving them gifts food or anything. They are also not afraid listening to music of other group in their live.
