Puma actually makes me tear up - it's about an actual animal that escaped from a zoo and led everyone on a chase before finally being killed. They imagined its joy and fear so beautifully, and connected it to their own experiences of being young and under attack. But what got me most was just how rooted it is in empathy for the animal. And of course they're full-on on the dance. Some people hate the song or think it's too corny or overwrought, but it reads as incredibly sincere to me. Opening Sequence is my consistent favorite of their songs musically. I can't even explain why exactly. It's just so beautiful. I love that their songs are so musically diverse and often pretty weird - musical risks, unusual concepts. It's what drew me in at first.

I’m happy with any reactions to SKZ/BTS/TXT/SVT 😂 You should also check out the Nana episodes for SVT some time. They are wholesome af. I’m now just waiting for TXT to officially get their own In The Soop vacation (isn’t it that time already? 2024-02-05 05:45:50 +0000 UTCOpening Sequence: This was a turning point for Tomorrow X Together in terms of how, as a group, they upped the ante for their performance in terms of choreography. Yes, we always knew they could be in sync, they were energetic, etc. But this song + this choreography gave another fully formed layer of TXT that MOA was unaware of and we were shocked (at least I was). This choreography + the Frost performance MV (the previous CB) led to the unveiling of the choreography of Eternally at their concert ACT: LOVE SICK. Now, Eternally had been around since 2020, with no choreography, just a concept MV. When they debuted choreography for Eternally, I think it's fair to say that MOAs were in shock/crying/posting furiously. [This is my opinion, but I think I'm right in saying this.]

It's my favorite - this song is very specific to a time and to a generation and TXT captures so many nuances in the Ellen performance. I thought Yeonjun was going to burst, he was so good!

2024-02-05 01:46:16 +0000 UTCPuma: I believe Adora was still with Big Hit at this time. She was a producer at BH and did background vocals for both BTS and TXT. I'm pretty sure that's her on Puma. Also, whenever they perform this song in their concerts, even if they change up the choreo, its so iconic (esp. the hand movements), it makes me choke up. The Puma is them, the members, they're on a crusade against their haters (mostly online, ugh). I commented on this before, Tomorrow X Together in their early period went through a rough time. They stuck together, grew strong, fought back. These early songs, especially the B-sides, take hold of you and never let go.

That Opening Sequence performance in particular has a special place in my heart. TXT genuinely have a gift for taking pop music performances and elevating them into art.

I'm certainly not trying to compare them, but I think they fall into the same category as groups like Queen or Fun! where there's the music, but then there's the story and the show and they really can't separate them out from each other. Idk...I'm not explaining it well...I just feel like with their discography, it feels more like theatre than just music.
