Itโs really cute to see how hype the other members were for ddaeng. To answer one of your questions (the only one I can still remember after I finished watching) - army didn't find out until the end of the year (Dec 2018) just how hard the year had been for them. The good news is that it was mostly the beginning of the year (December 2017-March 2018) that was the toughest, so by the time they had this event, they were coming out the other side of the difficulties.
