ooo yes knowing brothers! That was a good one but I hope you can find some with good translations. I made the mistake of watching it first on Netflix but the show is called "Men on a Mission" on there, the Eng subs were bad & kinda butchered V's comment he made to Jin. I had no idea why Jin looked so shocked at him until I watched a clip with better translations lol Then it was a lot funnier.

I also personally like all their appearances on the After School Show with Eric Nam (although those are mostly just talking with a few fun games and fan interactions). They went on Weekly Idol quite a few times too.

Doolset lyrics are useful for breaking down Korean wordplay or references or background info on songs so I’d check them out just for better understanding - but just following along is harder imo. Color coded lyrics are only useful to me if u wanna know who’s singing each part bc u don’t know their voices yet (but u could just find out by watching a live performance lol)

2023-11-11 14:44:31 +0000 UTCYou Quiz on the Block and Lets BTS r really good TV/Variety appearances, the older ones r bit hit or miss, because they always got cut/bridged appearances, or people didn't treat them with kindness and made them do some weird things. Also, before RUN BTS, Idols only did TV Variety Shows and lots of times, the tannies didn't get invited for a production. RM on Psick Show, Jin on Lee Youngji and Running Man, Hobi on Jay Parks Seasons and MMTG, Tae Running Man r great. If you enjoy really in depth conversations, Hobi and V both appeared on Starry Night, both Episodes r amazing.

I feel like what you did with JK's album worked well but I think maybe because the album was fully in English so it was very easy to follow the lyrics that way. Whereas since most of their music is in Korean it might not be as easy so I think lyric videos would still be a good option. (In my opinion, I might be the only one lol). One channel in particular has great lyric videos: "aftaehyung" and I've seen the channel "yankat" have a lot of good lyric videos for their earlier albums. BUT I think it's about what you find easier and more enjoyable so I think you should go with what you did with Golden if you feel that works the best 🙏💜

2023-11-11 02:13:09 +0000 UTCAlso, my personal fav third party variety show appearance is when they went on You Quiz on the Block (both the group episode and Tae's recent solo episode) :D Either would be cool to see you watch! + I don’t know if this one counts as a third party appearance or even a variety show but they had a special talk show tv thing called “Let’s BTS!” that had a non-bts member host. I think you would love it even if it doesn’t count as a variety show necessarily. I'm not sure where exactly the episodes for You Quiz or Lets BTS are available though so if anyone knows then pls lmk lol
