I'm so behind watchin vids lol. I feel the same western pop just isn't my thing that's what drew me to bts in the first place, I was mainly a hard rock & rock alternative listener before finding them. Ngl his first 3 singles or MV's just weren't my cup of tea even though Seven is so dang catchy lol. He sounds fantastic on them just not my vibe but Standing Next to You, I'm obsessed. It's my favorite on the album hands down. The other songs are slowly growing on me more but like you said I probably wouldn't be listening if it wasn't JK lol. This is why I could never be a reactor tho cuz there have been songs I thought were just ok or even thought I didn't like at first that after several listens, sometimes even listening again after years of not I change my mind on or it grows on me. My initial reactions are usually me staring with a blank expression even when I love it lol or making bad faces when I don't think I like it but later I sometimes change my mind lol. Ahhh I caught his live for time square! I was so happy, I almost never catch these things live anymore. I was so proud of him omg! I really hope to god that leaves a lasting impression on the people of NYC, I'm so tired of the media propaganda drivel being spewed that we are bots & their fans aren't real people or just screaming teenagers, I'm over it lol. These guys have done mind blowing things like their whole festival in Vegas & for real actually selling stadiums out (even live viewings next to the concert selling out) but lots of people have no idea they did those things. Or that their fans are so diverse from all walks of life. Ngl I kinda want them to blow up the music world in 2025 and I'm over these label terms with negative connotations or boxes people wanna shove them in. Lately I've been thinking they all need to go soon so they can come back sooner, it doesn't mean it won't be painful. Before I was glad they were taking their time going one by one so they could explore their own colors more but now that they have all released albums & great music I'm started to get nervous as the end of the yr approaches thinking they need to be joining soon or they can't come together as soon as possible. I thought Vmin for sure will join about the same time tho the military really controls the dates I think or even VminKook possibly but now we are coming so close to the new year I'm like just rip the bandaid off now & all go lol. I'm sure they've got a plan tho that I haven't considered & trust them. It's actually been pleasant to see how well they have tried to approach things so far cuz I've heard some not so good stories about what some other groups have dealt with when things weren't managed properly. 😅I must be having a good day or something cuz other days I'm like "Bring them back now!"😭.

In any case, it's one of JK's tattoos. He has "Make hay while the sun shines" and "better dead than cool" (which is a Nirvana/Kurt Cobain quote - and JK interprets as "rather be dead than live without passion"). So, that wall he was sitting in front of at the beginning also has all his tattoos on it - like Winners Never Quit is another one, as well as 0613, Army, etc.. and then also the tigerlily, 1997 in roman numerals, etc, in the other photos.

I think the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th look are representing himself and the things he enjoys like his tattoos, the harley davidson, boxing, painting. The 5th look with the mesh shirt and the TVs behind him is the celebrity him. And the last look in white is him in the view of other because he was holding a camera up to his face. This is what I've understood, I could be completely wrong. Also yes he had his eyebrow pierced but took it out because it was hard to mantain

2023-11-07 03:17:28 +0000 UTCLoved this catch up video! SNTY is my absolute favorite JK song and the live performance is just so incredible. Can't wait for the Jimmy Fallon one as well! And yes, JK did have his eyebrow pierced. (Army please correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe he had a fake one at the beginning of Butter era and ended up getting it pierced for real and later removed it. And his duality is one of my favorite things about him, for sure. Thank you so much for the reaction!
