2023-08-21 05:14:39 +0000 UTCI’m really not happy that jihan didn’t make it into the group… I feel like she’s someone who is a true ace, I mean her playing that guitar part for tomboy on top of it… she can do cute, she can do sass, she can do sexy and powerful…. Her crazy high vocal register and power with her stage presence is a huge loss. I know kei and yeeun are your girls…. But I duno other than keis voice… I feel like she kinda struggles to bring the rest… her dancing is good, not great and she seems to struggle with concepts that aren’t “pretty and elegant.” When she was in dark concepts I rarely even noticed her at all… she was far from the highlight unless it was a ballad vocal. I love her as a person… but she just comes across kind of bland if it’s not her forte. Yeeun i love and is super talented… but I just get one vibe from her .. she does t bring a lot of versatility… she’s always got that one same look visually… she’s a good dancer, has a nice voice and can rap… but outside of sexy concepts… she doesn’t blow me away… I think having yeeun, yeoreum and yeeun is like having one person three times. I think the group would have been better off with jihan or jiwon instead of… one of those three… or even yeonhee. Like yeonhee has been my girl and I was really pulling for her here bc she had such a rough time and really had uphill battles the whole entire time… she has a great personality, she’s got a nice voice and she’s a good dancer… but really watching her in the last few performances… during her parts where she had her moments… she just never wowed me… I wanted her to so badly lol but it was just kinda meh. I think jihan, jiwon , maybe even suyun or zoa could have made more sense than some of this group… I really started to like bora and think she’s got such a great voice and she’s cute and bubbly very supportive… but she’s very much like kei. They’ve got incredible ballad vocals… but outside that… they’re good… but definitely not anywhere near the top in other areas… but also fye…. I think that’s a HUGE loss to this group and think she really brought a color to any group she was in that was 100% hers…. If that makes sense. All in all I wasn’t ecstatic about some of the choices…. But it’s hard to say with the amount of rotating girls in groups… there wasn’t time to really get a true feel of who should be put together… I’m sure they’re going to be amazing and completely blow my expectations out of the water. You could have chosen almost any of the girls from the original lineup and made an amazing group… just a matter of popularity sadly… but I’m def excited to see what we get from them. I wonder how long it’ll be… what they’re whole concept will be… it’s going to be extremely interesting for sure !!!

2023-08-21 05:12:54 +0000 UTCIt would be interesting if they had sub-groups that form like they do on other survival shows. Like contestants placed 8 - 14 for example could form another group but I understand that would take attention away from the Top7. Collaborations can still happen though!

2023-08-17 21:38:31 +0000 UTCAustin I waited and avoided spoilers just to watch this finale with you! Although the top 7 wasn't all that surprising the order was a bit more tense than I thought. Hwiseo really is the winner of this show coming from a smaller group and company. She really showcased everything she could. The real twist would have been if Taeyeon was the final puzzle piece lol. Loved her as the Grandmaster again. I think the Filipino drink you're thinking of is Halo halo! I haven't had it myself yet but definitely touted as delicious by many of my friends! SNAP and CHARISMATIC by far the best performance rounds throughout the series. It was nice to see them perform it live (not vocally, just on a stage, though live vocals would have been nice too). Really excited for this group and really interested to see their chemistry. So glad Yuki made it because she is such a bright personality. Yeonhee really has a way with words with her message to herself. Even though it's encouragement to herself, it felt like it was encouragement for everyone. Also looking forward to all of the comebacks from the groups on this show. Purple Kiss, Weeekly, H1-KEY. etc. and all of the interactions between the groups. Thank you for watching this series and sharing your reactions and thoughts. Thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to watch the next one with you! :)

2023-08-17 21:36:36 +0000 UTCI can't wait for this group :) Little disappointed for the last girl who gave her little speech before the announcement because I really think her group is just living on borrowed time and she could really use the boost. But hopefully this is just the promotion her group needed and they'll have another comeback soon. Certainly, the last girl that was announced is equally deserving and could also really use this opportunity...I guess I just hate eliminations and want everyone to redebut who needs it lol
