I still really loved the WEB performance but they all killed it!

1:10:53 lol that’s why they changed this and it’s not the actual little mermaid story… bc no women should give up what makes her special and makes her happy… just to live in someone else’s shoes… and def not for a dude. Embracing herself and her gifts and doing what truly makes her happy makes this story have a beautiful message and empowering women… especially in a more traditional culture like Korean

2023-07-23 22:09:44 +0000 UTCI wish they wouldn’t have shown Yeoreum saying that the queendom team wouldn’t be able to do “glow up.” I mean the puzzle team is stacked and has gotten pretty much every advantage so far… that kinda comment considering they don’t know who would be dancing “glow up” basically says that she doesn’t think any members of that group was good enough to pull that off. Honestly glow up they slayed and was the best out of all of them. Web was pretty but didn’t like the song at all and we saw this concept already with nxde. Bad blood was cool and the crowd doesn’t see the little mistakes so it won’t effect them I don’t think, the fact that overwater added all these elements to it to make it have more wow factors just shows their determination and the song was one of the bests for sure. Bad blood felt a bit like a knock off of Taylor swifts bad blood where she has her girl gang taking over taking out all the bad dudes…. Walking away as they toss the lighter to blow it up… little to on the nose with the fire choreo… even the way they had them sing it sounded a lot like how Taylor changed how she sings in that song… and think dohwa was 100% right about listening to the songs and what voices sounded the bests for their songs really made the songs stand out the best. Both queendom teams songs sounded so much better.. they put so much thought care and attention into this.. they’ve kinda gotten screwed out of winning a stage bc the other group has more popular members…. I hope they at least win one… bc both glow up and overwater looked like cohesive groups … while the others looked more like soloists all performing together. Web and bad blood both had some really incredible dancers and I enjoyed the lines in web.. but maybe just the song being one of my least is not exciting enough… especially when I feel like I’ve seen these girls in this exact same concept over and over lol and bad blood same thing… the lifts and partner choreo of that one just looked sloppy. They didn’t miss as much as mnet keeps showing from an audience pov… but bc of the different lifts and stuff not showing straight lines it just looked sloppy in some sections… and strong in others. Overall overwater and glow up were the most clean and really paid attention to the intricate details as a group… I felt the camaraderie of glow up and they killed that choreo w a better song than web… we b had some technical moves w lines that def were impressive tho. I just think that’s my least fave song .

It was the last scene of episode 4 so meanwhile every change of scene last episode, I was going "dance battle? No?....now dance battle?" lol it was actually distracting me how we just completely ditched it after like 2 people.

2023-07-21 17:40:14 +0000 UTCHonestly the performances were so close. Hard to pick a winner. Queendom team really setup the teams and rounds very well. My favorites were probably both from the Queendom Team (Overwater and Glow up). The Overwater song is such a chill song to listen to. Glow up choreo was so fun to watch! Web was really cleanly executed and Bad blood wasn't as bad as MNET made it out to be. After watching the full stage performances you couldn't really tell the mistakes that were made. So sad, for just 5 people to get eliminated! I'm starting to really like some of them whom I never knew of before.
