South korea has a really strict trash collection system where you HAVE to recycle and you have to separate your food waste and recyclables in different specific trash bags that every household is provided by (i think?) the government. If your food waste exceeds the bags/containers you were given you have to pay a fine, so people tend to be more thoughtful about when they throw away food. I don't know if it is also a cultural thing that existed before this trash collection system was put in place, but this is how it is nowadays.

He produced/directed a lot of popular variety shows in Korea including Star Golden Bell, 2 Days & 1 Night Season 1, Grandpas Over Flowers, Three Meals a Day etc. His ongoing shows at the moment are Game Caterers and Earth Arcade Season 2 😉
