Honestly i was going to skip the “kidnapping” anyway so thanks for doing that for me. The first weekend i ever discovered BTS and Kpop i binged this show and it’s how i learned the members and became a fan so it’s very dear to my heart

To b honest not really a fan of this show. I'm only starting to watch these reactions cause i want to c ur take on it, and I think as ARMY it's kinda required watching cause there's so much lore that comes from it but some of the so called teachers were not it, the kidnapping thing was in poor taste and a trauma that they reference at other times. The guys r made of strong stuff and of course shine through. I understand the premise of learning from the source and there was some genuine heartfelt moments but u cannot convince me that there was a couple of men on this show that made me want to throw something at the TV. The boys are a class act through and through.

Jungkooks not talking about the actual “air” when he says that Austin lol he’s talking about the industry in LA, the huge dance classes and all the buzz in one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world. A lot of people aspiring to be in that business .. there’s different opportunities available, they were close to like Venice beach and Santa Monica pier . Basically he was saying it’s a different kind of life in California if that makes sense

FUN FACT… bang pd gave son sung deuk who is they’re choreographer and stage director money and told him to choose the trainee with the most potential to go to LA and learn at the dance academy’s and music and everything for like a month and he chose jungkook… that’s what they’re talking about him being there… not sure what part of their training they were in when they did that… but I guess JK came back a more confident dancer and overall vibe after just a month.. but bc of how successful jungkook had been through that experience … it was put into the hybe training system or bighit before hybe system and they do this with all the trainees now lol it changed how they train them and all bc of that one little month jk was there. That’s so wild to me

You have to react to BTS dancing to girl group choreo!!!!! Omg you’ll love it!!! This show is awesome and honestly they use almost every single thing that they learned through this experience even to this day. They took the heart of hip hop and made it better bc they made it their way… BTS discography is phenomenal . I’ve never listened to an artist or group where I could literally love every song … like over 200 songs and they don’t have one bad one I can think of… that’s insane… but it’s iconic. But yeh even off stage they learned lessons they use today… there are some cringe variety show vibe moments that suck but like 95% of the show is everything and seeing them back then like this… they’re so genuine bc they’re still just like this lol but older and wiser.. but equally as chaotic lol

Yes it was

JoY

Was that Manager Sejin in between Jin and Tae on the plane?

Danilo Saligue

yay, excited for this series. I won't be watching the first episode because I can't handling the first one. But I will be watching after this one. Yay!

This show made be become an ARMY. So no matter how cringe this show is, i'm happy that i found this. This is my very first show when i was one week into them back in 2017. I love how raw they are and really express themselves on this show.

LOU

The toys/stuffed animals you saw behind them at the beginning are Hip Hop Monsters. They were like a proto-BT21 but a lot less cute, in my opinion - sorry to anyone who loves them! But yeah, each "monster" represents one of the guys. JK, Jin, and Jimin probably have the best ones and the rest are, um, yeah 😅

Mel

I’m with you Austin. I don’t like the kidnapping in the beginning either. JK was just a kid, a minor and Tae & Jimin weren’t much older. After the first two episodes it was mostly really good and worth the watch. AHL is like a BTS right of passage. You have to see it at least one time to truly understand what our boys went through to become who they are now.

Kellzie

Yay! I LOVE AHL. So much heart and humor and it was the first chance that Jin and Tae really got time to show off their personalities. And Hobi's natural ACE-hood was really on display too. And all the sleeveless tees and backward caps he wore?? OOF. So crush-worthy. It's such a great series. And I mean, there were harsh moments but I think people familiar with Korean variety shows are less shocked by some of it. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience for them and I fall in love with them all over again every time I watch it!

SNBangtan

Can you react to some run bts episodes too, please? I think you will like them

Talie

So glad you decided to watch this! honestly -aside from a few scenes- I love this show! so many great moments and lessons that shaped their work ethic and beliefs till this day !! 💜

Rue

omg you are spoiling us! cannot wait to start this after the birthday video haha

mel

Not me watching your Suga day video on YT and getting an alert for AHL on patreon. I'm feeling spoiled 🥳🥳

Frayed

Sir I can't keep up T_T ahaha jk that's a great suprise! I think Rookie King trained you for this: cringe, sweetness and ridiculousness lol

Lela

Woohoo! Love this series. Cringe & all. These boys gave their all to make the most of this experience. 🫶🏻💜

SugaIsMyPetRock

Ooh very unexpected surprise. Yes I'd say after episode 2 it's all lovely.

Infinite Ree

Amazing! I love this series. It’s a bit cringey at times but it’s also the first series I watched of theirs so it has a special place in my heart. 💜
