Continuing to watch (had to leave for work) I've learned when it comes to korean instant ramen listen to korean hacks on how to eat ramen. I remember watching a vid on youtube, now I only eat the Black Shin ramen with less broth (I do 250-300ml water instead of 500ml) & 2 slices single wrapped American cheese (normally I dislike this type of cheese but it's perfect in ramen, I normally go with Velveta cheddar singles). I love Red Shin ramen too but I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to spicy stuff lol, I cook the noodles in plain water, strain, reheat with 250ml milk add the flavor packet heat on low til hot, and top with lots of green onion. Got this hack from korean youtube vid too. It might have been from "Aaron and Claire" youtube but can't remember for sure lol. Maangchi vid for Jjapaguri (beef is a must with it, puts in on another level) it's friggin delicious. Man I miss food right now 😭 still on a strict diet because of gallbladder issues.

The dog is cute & them naming him Seojin is funny. Man that fried chicken looks good, always wanted to try korean fried chicken. About the twitter situation, this is why I block a lot of people there but the algorithm is messed up now with all the changes being made. Frankly I view all solos as antis period, personally I feel like only a small portion of them are actually that delusional that they believe the crap they are saying but I feel like the majority are straight up fake fans there to cause problems/divide & conquer to tear us down from the inside. What's weird is whether they are solos, mantis, antis they all devote extreme amounts of their lives to tearing others down even more so then focusing on the people they claim to love. Taking breaks from twitter is good to do from time to time or limited the time you spend there. Ok back to watching the show now.

I really love the chemistry between everyone so far. The dog (SeoJin..haha) is too cute, just making a place for itself..haha

I literally can't watch a TV show without also playing a game on my phone and holding multiple text conversations.

2023-03-12 19:37:52 +0000 UTComg i understand your feeling about working retail and opening up. I work at a gym and for my first 5 years there, I worked front desk so I would open every other week. We open at 5am but the customers were always there before I got to work??? It's so stressful opening up and people are like....waiting bc even though I know im not late..it feels like im late and im making them wait! hated doing that!

2023-03-11 00:32:11 +0000 UTCJust popping in to say, the pickled veggies that they use taste *nothing* like dill pickles. It's a much more subtle flavor, not harsh, salty and acidic like the pickles I've eaten in the U.S. :)

Having his own taste in music I hope it reflects on his choices 🌺 About spirituality, I saw Tae often pray to his guardian angel and Suga says he often prays. I know that Jimin went to catholic school, in fact all the guys seems to know about the catholic rituals. I also read Korea embraced the catholic faith as a way to dissociate from the Japanese oppressors.

Not consistently though, so it's not weird if you still don't like foods you also didn't like as a kid. Everyone is unique. 2. Wooshik is Canadian-Korean, so he lived in Canada while he was a teenager, which is why his English is so good. It's fun to watch with you! And I agree, even if Tae wasn't in it, and I didn't already know Wooshik and Seojun, I'd still watch this show - it's super fun. But yeah, it probably wouldn't have come across my radar without Tae in it.

You can have drumsticks, wings or half a breast or the more bite sized pieces. I'd say the sauced fried chicken is usually more bite sized. Have to admit though that I've tried the original spicy chicken sauce Tae made here and it was NOT for me lol it tastes like a spicy candy glaze haha it was both too spicy and too sweet for me (just look at the syrup and sugar measurements compared to the other ingredients)

2023-03-10 20:50:09 +0000 UTCBTS and religions - I'm interested in this too. Nearly all of them are very private about their religions, but RM is open about the fact that he's an atheist. The others we can only guess at. Taehyung's family seems to be the most traditional and he talks about doing traditional ceremonies for the ancestors on holidays (Chuseok, etc) (I don't know enough about Buddhism versus Korean folk religions to know which one it is), but then he also talks about listening to "angels" and as you saw in this episode he knew the whole cross sign on the chest thing, but that could just be largely cultural from watching a lot of hip hop rather than actually religion based.. Jimin has also talked about watching his father do the same, but that the tradition is dying out among their generation. Suga has referenced Job a lot in his lyrics, so it's clear he was at least raised Christian - but when he references God in his lyrics, he does so as "if there's a God..." which might indicate that he doesn't necessarily believe in it all... but again, I'm only making assumptions. The rest are more of a mystery, but likely Christian upbringing would be my guess.

2023-03-10 20:21:56 +0000 UTCThat note was so sweet :) in my made up scenarios of ever seeing any of the members in a non official setting I always imagine leaving them a note like that lol like I wouldn't speak to them or bother them but just give them a note saying somethink like "thank you and I love you" and leave haha Joon has shared something like this before and thought it sweet so I think they'd be comfortable with this sort of interaction :)
