This episode is what made me really like Jamie. Her vocal power and control blew me away and she's super chill, cute, and honest as a person but always makes sure that other people feel comfortable. Unless they are close friends and then she makes them feel awkward as possible lol. I really like Sleeq. The way Mnet has presented her, she sounds super introverted, which resonates with me. Although in front of the camera by herself she has expressed being flexible to work with, but as she appears to be very introverted, she may not always know how to express that to other people. When you keep your thoughts to yourself, people don't know what you're thinking or how to read you or interpret your actions so I can understand why people might not understand her. In any case glad you're enjoying Good Girl. I hope you find some gems in this series :)

2023-03-03 10:03:49 +0000 UTCI wish I thought it was a setup by Mnet on why sleeq was left on her own lol you’re too nice… or maybe I’m too cynical.. but from the reactions to her stage and things other members said really make me think it just really was what happened. Based on how upset sleeq seems and lonely… and each persons reasons sound like convenient excuses for the most part….but I’m gonna try to think like you and be more positive about it bc it hurts less that way to watch lol but I wish they would stop apologizing to her as if they really are.. bc if they really felt sorry for her then they would have just gone to partner with her to be nice, like you mentioned. Don’t think badly of them bc it’s their choice and it’s a competition basically … gotta do what you gotta do…. Just hard to watch is all

The older members would say “or little boy is all grown up…. Can’t imagine what bang pd think about this,” kinda thing. Bc Jamie basically was famous as a 15 year old girl singing Adele and “somewhere over the rainbow,” lol she looked super young in the clips… and here she was looking very mature, singing mature themes and def giving seductive vibes a bit…. Also I wasn’t sure what they censored out that she did with her hand at one point that had the whole audience gasp with their jaws on the floor lol think she may have flipped them off🖕 or something bc I can’t think of another gesture that would get that response.. except it doesn’t fit w the lyric at that part really.. but who knows lol her voice was amazing… I thought her rap section was weak… but she didn’t do a long rap so maybe I need to hear more… but her voice … wow … excited to hear more

Jiwoo devoured that stage, she has everything from talent in singing, dancing and rapping down to the stage presence,She's also gorgeous. 2023-02-22 21:35:20 +0000 UTCYunhway’s actually got a pretty short discography. If you wanted to check out all of her music, you might be able to do it in one day. LOL at you being like, “Yay, Jiwoo’s performance!….oh, Chris Brown. Okay then” because SAME Re: Jamie and JYP. The woman talking about JYP is Yubin from the Wonder Girls. She was signed to JYP the same time that Jamie was signed there as a part of 15&. Jamie won a competition show and choose JYPE as her label. If I remember correctly, Jamie (and the other half of 15& Baek Yerin) were the youngest signed artists for a time. Jaime left JYPE before Good Girl, so I think Yubin was basically just saying, “She’s all grown up and not the little 15-year old we remember. I hope he doesn’t watch this.” Speaking of being all grown up, I think Jamie was really trying to shed her 15& image at the time. It’s kind of like the Miley Cyrus “Can’t Be Tamed”/Bangerz era or Christina Aguilera’s X-Tina phase when she released “Dirrty.” She’s got a great voice, but I don’t think she wanted to stand there and sing a ballad. She was more focused on trying to be edgier and sexier than the teenager that people remember her as, which is fine, but I don’t think it showed how talented she really is as a vocalist. If there were an artist there whose vocals were just naturally too perfect, I would vote Ailee. But, from what I remember, MNET was cleaning up vocals on a couple different performances. I think they left a lot of the rappers vocals intact, but I remember a couple instances on the show where the vocals were too perfect, especially when people are also dancing. Everyone knows Ailee can sing (~Saang) and sing live, so I don’t know why they did so much cleaning up for this series. About Youngji getting all 33 votes: the audience was also just voting a thumbs up or thumbs down. So, everyone in the audience voted that they liked her performance and wanted to work with her. Everyone else got votes as well, but Youngji just received the most. Sleeq is just the cutest. I’m excited for you to see the Hyoyeon collab next week. Sleeq lets her sone flag fly and they were sweet together. (Goodness, I’ve written a novel in the comments again 😰)
