J-Hope In The Box Documentary

Happy Hobi Day!
Yesterday I watched Hobipalooza & today the documentary!

I loved this so much!

J-Hope In The Box Documentary

Comments

I suspect that they streamed the concert and saved the file to upload on youtube. It was all the same cameras. Another cameras were from disney to film the documentary.

I subscribed to Disney for this and I'm so happy to watch it again with you. I loved how he let us into his family home wow I was so amazed when he did that. I love how supportive they are of him. Omg was it me or did I see Jimin tear up a bit at the end. His old dance crew Neuron just made an instagram so everybody suspects something is coming with him and them and the ending of this def gave it away and also on his latest interview he had. I cried also because piece of peace is my fav and j-hope being my bias and watching him do his solo made me think of his debut and rookie years. This man worked so damn hard. Thank you for reacting Austin.

I was in the front row to the left (Hobi's left) of the stage and only got there cuz I had to pay $$$ The others on the right side are true soldiers. Unfortunately a lot of them had to be carried off by medics because they were passing out from having been there so long. I personally saw at least 3 dozen Army get removed and felt so bad for them.

You asked how the people in the front row at Hobipalooza went to the bathroom. They literally didn't. They ran to the barricade as soon as the gates opened that morning (around 10 or 11 I think) and stayed there all day, which means they also didn't leave for food or water. I know Lolla staff gave them water occasionally. They really deserved that front row because I can't imagine standing out in the July heat for 12 hours. I'm too old for that so I arrived at 3:30 or so and walked around, got food, and made sure my water bottle was full before I went over to his stage. Even with all of that, I still got lightheaded from screaming so loud and hard during his set 😅

Also I really loved seeing him a bit at home it was one of my fav parts of the documentary. His mom is so sweet and his family is so supportive it's lovely to see. I think it's really endearing that their families embrace the other members as if they were their kids too like Jhope's mom offering to feed any of them.

loved this documentary and I'm so thrilled this aired on Disney plus. When I was watching it the first time I was doing good throughout, I typically don't get emotional easy but all the sudden when he was performing Arson when he goes back the the top of the box and the music goes crazy and he started dancing wildly with abandon just letting go, I started to cry. It just all hit me. He worked so hard for so long, this album meant a lot to him and here he was debuting it as a headliner for Lollapalooza. I was so thankful and proud of army too because his album had just released on the 15th of July and he performed on the 31st of July. They were singing along to most of the words loudly of Jack in the Box as well as all his other songs. Many army came from all over and I'm especially grateful to our South American army's because they give him lots of love and learn the Korean lyrics. Many army's worked hard and it showed. I also thought it was great that he got complements from regular gp who came by to check him out cuz they were curious or checked out his livestream on Hulu. I really enjoyed the live band a lot, no wonder they used them for the concert in Busan. They did a great job arranging the music for real I thought everything sounded fantastic like Hangsang for example, If they released a live album of Hobipalooza I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat. I love that the band members posted on instagram pictures of them going together to the cinemas to see "BTS: Yet to Come". This documentary came as a surprise to me, I think they had announced the BTS documentary first or maybe I just didn't hear about Jhope's til later. Anyways loved your reaction so much and thank you for sharing it with us 💜

it was great rewatching with you, thank you! the day of his listening party was CRAZY, we had no idea it was happening until all of a sudden all of these celebs started uploading vids and photos. a fun day in the fandom for sure! as some other ppl have commented, there is bangtan bomb of it which is a fun watch too.

Angelica

He said on his Bday Live, that he filmed Content for Hope on the Streets.

AstronautInTHEboX

what a great way to celebrate Hobie's birthday! To answer some of your questions: when BTS was starting each member has sort of VLive shows - Hope on the street is J-hope show where he dances (eatjin - jin's mukbang or eating show, Mandaggo - is jimin and v on dialicts/accents) BTW JK actually joined the Unmasked singer while Jimin was a guest there once as part of the panel

Wow, austin, thank you for the videos. It was cute seeing his family and their house. It looks really nice. omg his mom has a collection of bts stuff . LMAO! I wonder what photocard she got. Hope On The Street is a show made by j-hope himself. He does street dancing videos and sometimes brings along a guest. It's just him dancing like free styling, and it looks like we are getting something soon.👀 JIMIN made me laugh every time i see that clip of him hobi and Becky g.🧍‍♂️ Becky g if I remember we didn't know she was going to be there, she posted something I think on insta like she was watching hobipalooza at home. Little did we know she was backstage getting ready to perform . I'm so proud of hobi !

We didn’t know there was going to be a documentary for JITB we knew Disney was there just to stream it live but we had already been informed that Disney and bts would be working together for 3 projects ( PTD in LA In the soop friend vacation and now jhope in the box)

Julie

yes! 😭

nessa

With exclusive photo cards so you have to buy more! 😭💜

Sir Austin

Hi Sir Austin! Just to clarify since you commented on it, this documentary was filmed and produced by Hybe, Disney+ just aired it. The reason the Lollapalooza footage was of lower quality is because it was taken from the live stream. Also, Hope on the Street is what Hobi called the VLive's he did where he did freestyle dancing. There is speculation that he is doing something possibly with his old dance crew. I haven't seen anything concrete though, just rumors.

ThinMintMafia

i loved rewatching this with you! and i also have a theory about the footage but mine it's about bighit releasing a dvd/bluray or something like that later, i'd give them all my money for it.

nessa

You could definitely hear the crowd in the hulu version, it's just louder in the documentary. Also you should have been on army twitter during the listening party, it was so fun. Every 5 minutes there was a picture of another celeb there. It felt like we were at the party as well

karla francis

Yoongi wasnt at the party because he was sick, the wedding was a few days earlier, theres actually a bangtan bomb of the listening party you should watch, it was so cute at first jimin and jungkook were so nervous because of the all people that they were hiding in the corner together

kookmineve

There is an episode on BANGTANTV on the BTS of the listening party

Salsabil yakoubi

Hope on the Street appears to a video production about his dancing. Not sure if it is several episodes or just one video. He recently visited his old dance crew Neuron so there is speculation they are in it. I am super excited about it because Hobi dancing is the best!!

Kellzie

Commenting after watching. Yoongi wasn't there because he was ill and they suspected covid so he couldn't be at the listening party for that reason. Also fun fact Jungkook was on the Masked Singer (og korean version of course) so if you want you can check that video out. Jungkok was on the masked singer in 2016 before BTS were a big hit and blew up. I do love your conspiracy theory, the quality is so much better how did Hybe not have the better camera? lol

Farhana

Hope on the Street is the dance videos he puts out for ARMY

Leigh White

I love this documentary so much! Thank you!

Amy Wagers

We can see the pink and teal colors at the top of the screen. I like it! Very pretty. This documentary is very insightful. It showcases how creative Hoseok is. JITB was his baby from start to finish and he did a fantastic job. I love it! J-Hope was a perfect name for Hoseok. He always gives me hope and his smile lifts my heart. Our man knows how to make an intro. ❤️‍🔥 He is a master performer. I love your conspiracy theory. I thought the quality looked so much better too.

Kellzie

LMAO! It was the hair that threw me off!

Sir Austin

You're correct at pointing out those celebrities except the first one you said "steve aoki" 😂 He's Tiger JK and his wife, Yoon Mirae. They are known k-hiphop artists.

Army Nia

YAY!!! I loved watching this, can't wait to rewatch it with you Austin!

Farhana

Happy Hobi Day to you Austin! 🫂💜
