I've just finished the episode because I cannot get through a multi-hour show in one sitting lol. I agree that I don't think Kep1er should have been on this season. They never could have won, there would be just too much backlash. But it was also too soon. They had only 2 songs at the time. Now maybe they could've done some songs from the show they were formed on - I'd love to see Snake or U+Me=Love performed by all of the girls that made the final group. Or they could even have done O.O.O, the show's theme song. But having 2 SNSD members as mentors doesn't make SNSD's discography theirs and I think that was really the wrong move to make. Adding them to a Queendom 3 lineup could be great but it was just too soon to put the on the second season. I also don't know that I've seen other people talking about this so maybe I'm way off anyway, but given Mnet alternates between Queendom & Kingdom, I think it's possible Queendom 3 mightn't air until towards the end of Kep1er's contracts so maybe it was deliberate. That way when the time comes to cast it, they can say that Kep1er have already been on the show and they don't have to waste a slot on a girl group they don't want to promote anymore.

I listen to very little BG music - really only some SHINee & EXO with the odd BTS song in there. But the minute I heard that song it grabbed me and I had it on repeat in a way that I almost never do with BG music. I could blame Rothy but I don't know her outside of this song and truthfully it's just a very good song.

Idk if you get notifications for comments on your posts so maybe you'll never see this but I feel the same way about that chill summery vibe music. Seeing as you requested BG music with that type of vide, I wonder if you've heard Chanyeol's solo song featuring the singer, Rothy. It's called Ocean view, it seems like it'd be right up your alley.

At one point gowon is lifted in the air (her representative animal in the lore is a butterfly) and is flying towards a LOONA lightstick!! But… they didn’t even show it. And some other stuff. A shame, because the girls worked so hard.

2023-02-03 15:00:24 +0000 UTCI forgot how emotional all of the performances were this episode. Brave Girls saying they don't really know their own musical identity doesn't surprise me. It's something people have been saying about them for a while. They had a few different concept changes.They have more ex-members than current members, so it took a while for the line-up to stick. Plus, their boss Brave Brothers is their producer, yes; but he makes hits for a bunch of different acts Sistar, Big Bang, AOA, T-ara, After School, 4Minute, Park Bom etc. People would leave comments like "Man, he makes so many hits. It's a shame that he can't make his own group popular" or "Why is he giving this great song to (other group) instead of Brave Girls." After "Rollin" blew up, they were kind of just the "Rollin" group and that song was popular. But people didn't really want them to stray away too far, I guess. MNET and their editing is always a mess. Just like, a month and a half ago, they were doing something similar on their hip-hop competition show, Show Me the Money. The featured artist came out on cue. Some technical issue happened, and the artist was like "oh! I'm sorry." Then, there was an entire ~deliberation~ about how to carry on. It wasn't the musical act's fault but the cast got together and had to vote. They landed on the logical thing which was just to start the performance again. But there was so much drama like "what do we do?!" Even on their mega-popular show Produce 101, they just made stuff up and aired things that were false just because they could. The trainee Somi as shown crying and having another girl hold her back (because she was about to fight someone). They played the scene during a "next week on" teaser. Then the episode aired and nothing happened. Years later, Somi did a livestream and said she told the director "Mr. Director, I’m going act like I’m going to be mad, so please put it in the preview or something because it’s going to grab attention." THEN THEY JUST DID IT. MNET shows are popular so I don't understand why they skew the editing so much. I'm excited to see your reaction to Hyolyn's featured artist Lee Young Ji. She's the one who did the Lizzo "Juice" cover with Seungkwan of Seventeen. She's very entertaining on and off stage. She also had her own Youtube interview show with guests like Hoshi (she's a Hoshi stan), Seungkwan, Hwasa, Soobin, Joohoney, Hyungwon, Key, and YooA.

2023-02-02 19:02:11 +0000 UTCYeah the song was weird?, I mean i kinda enjoy listening to it every once in a while, but it took me some time to get used to certain parts of it, specially some of the vocals in the chorus, maybe it will grow on you, maybe not lol. Also I didnt watch the finale because it was too long, i just watched the performances later on youtube, so I'll be watching the finale with you next week for the first time too Ü

2023-02-02 18:51:53 +0000 UTCEunha's explanation on why Hyolyn got so low in Global Vote is the best one because we could vote for two groups during the show so most people were doing : Their Favorite Group + Hyolyn (since her performances were crazy and everyone admitted that) but since BRAVE GIRLS were in danger at that time, i feel like a lot of vote turned like this : Favorite Groupe + BRAVE GIRLS to save them. That's mostly why she got so low, not because her performance wasn't good or people didn't like it. For this round, WJSN take the crown for me. PANTOMIME performance is my favorite of all QUEENDOM 2. They had everything in it, the fans and them choose the song together (one they never performed), WJSN took their fans feedback into account to put them in the performance, so many goods points (the LED start, the fact they use the whole stage, play with the camera, the chair part, the doll part, the couple dance and the aerialist), I love the arrangement. I also love the fact some part in the performance match the lyrics so well, it's little details that add into it. Brave Girls is my second favorite At first, I wasn't sure because I wasn't into the song, it felt weird but since this performance, I listen to the song a lot and I don't have this problem anymore. I love the fact BRAVE GIRLS took into account the fact that not everyone might know their storie and even if it was for the fans, the others people in the public needed to know a little to get the feeling of the performance and why it's meaningful. Hyolyn/LOONA and VIVIZ I put them together because I don't how and where to put them KEP1ER My least favorite and it might be because it's THE BOYS, I'm so used to the original so it's so harddd. Also the remix got darker, I'm not into it that much ? I get why they choose a SNSD songs since both Taeyeon and Tiffany were theirs masters but I do think they could have choose one song from GIRLS PLANET 999 for example, some songs from the show are really good honestly and it would have been a reminder of their root and how they were created. For the final song, yeah Hyolyn don't have a feat with WJSN, it was an error. VIVZ song is like a song for Fairy Tale I feel like so yeah you might not like it? WJSN, BRAVE GIRLS and LOONA final songs are my favorite songs, the one i'm still listening even after the show. The final is so long because you have so much break, sometime they announce some results between everything and the MC's always have to wait to read what's on the monitor etc so it's get long for nothing

2023-02-02 17:24:31 +0000 UTCI really loved brave girls' performance in this round, back when it came out i wasnt very sure about the song or the performance, but watching it again really made it grow on me. My rankings for the round would be something like: 1. Brave girls 2. WJSN 3. Hyolyn 4. Kepler 5. Loona 6. Viviz (The last 3 are interchangeable, depends on the day xD) And out of the 2 seasons (for the fantastic/fandora's box round), my all time favourite would be mamamoo (followed very closely by brave girls), I just feel like they understood what they had to do for the round and slayed it
