BTS Bon Voyage: S2E7

A great episode!  Lots of fun activities!
Sorry about the volume.  The behind clips audio is way lower than the main episode.  I always try to adjust it but it's still a bit quieter.

Happy New Year!

Thank you so much I loved this. Im a Polynesian from New Zealand and I visited the Polynesian cultural centre when I was on my honey moon there and the cultural centre is run by the university there so all the students there are the workers like the dancers and guides. It's so amazing to see BTS enjoy their time and the performance there.

Yes not evenly split - I meant more evenly split than left/right handedness. 10 percent of people are left-handed, while the sources I am reading say about 30 - 45% are goofy foot depending on the sport. Which is more than I thought. Apparently, it's more connected to which foot is your stability foot, which is the foot you tend to stand on if you stand on one leg. That will usually be the forward foot. Anyway it was an interesting trip into google.

Goofy foot/regular stance are not evenly split, regular or left foot forward occurs more frequently, even V surfed regular stance but he is known to be ambidextrous as well. I guess whatever is more comfortable and because Jin is already a board rider, he already had a preference.

Austin I'm the same - I love banana flavoured candy and banana cake/bread - but I don't like eating bananas as a fruit. For me it's also the texture.

I was interested so I went and checked his snowboarding footage - yes he snowboards goofy foot too! I did some googling and apparently foot stance is not connected to handedness, with most people being right-handed, but goofy/regular stance being more evenly split. I also thought it was connected to handedness, so I learned something today!

Jin was riding goofy foot on his surfboard (right foot forward), which is kinda strange since I know he's right-handed. I'm wondering if that's how he rides his snowboard as well.

Ah I love Bon Voyage💜 Each season is so special. Hawai was fun.💜💜💜 Happy New Year Austin! I’m glad you started BTS cause now you are one of my favorite reactors. I like when you add your musical background to the reactions, a,ways interesting. 🥰😘💜💜💜

Happy New Year! You mentioned something about how quickly husband Jin caught on to surfing. I think that’s because he loves to snowboard and he’s REALLY good at it!

I love boiled green bananas and boiled green plantains, that was lunch pretty much every day. Im from the Caribbean.

HAHA bts at the cultural centre is so iconic!

Delilah

In the Caribbean we eat boiled green banana. Its more savoury. It can replace rice in a meal

Hawaii looks so fun. Any place with BTS would be fun though. I feel the same with cherries. I don’t like real cherries, but I love cherry flavored stuff. Recently, someone gave me some Hawaiian cookies and they were so good. Hawaii is on my list of places to visit. I know someone who lives there now, so I am hoping to be able to visit. I can’t believe there is only one episode left. Season 2 is one of my favorites, with my other favorite next to come, Season 3. They are all good, but there is something about the two seasons in the middle. If I can find a way to watch J-Hope tonight without DIRECTV now, I will watch. Otherwise, I’m hoping it will be on youtube in the morning as well. Love Hobi! 💜

The godzilla franchise of movies is originally Japanese - hence why you thought they took place in Tokyo, they eventually got an American remake because they were so popular - that's what was partially filmed in Hawaii in 1997. Fun fact about banana flavour - banana flavour candies are based on the flavour of a type of banana that is now extinct, which is why they don't taste like the current fruit that you can buy at the grocery store.

Happy new year's eve!! Thank you for the reaction 💜 BangtanTV will upload a performance of Jhope's, probably tomorrow.

If you love banana flavored things, you should buy Banana Kick, which is a Korean snack. They're the shape and texture of cheese puffs, but they have banana flavored dust instead of cheese. They are delicious. I think you can buy them on Amazon, if you don't have a Korean market nearby.

Happy New Year to you too. Thank you for all the great and plentiful content you keep sharing with us.
