The Taejin incident was the point when I realised how mature Jin was and he has become my ultimate bias ever since. When I first watched that incident, I also thought Tae was trying to help Jin improve the choreo and Jin was just being sensitive. However, after watching the actual spring day choreo part that they were talking about(you can easily find the clip on YT), I realized it was actually Tae who walked too further away and Jin had to run super fast to get back to the group. Tae did nothing wrong here because I guess Tae didn’t realized at that point that he messed up the choreo himself so he kept on suggesting Jin to run faster. I guess poor Jin was telling the truth that he already ran as fast as he could and it was really impossible for him to run even faster. At the end of the argument, Jin even apologized to Tae first. This precious man has my upmost respect.

2023-01-07 22:05:05 +0000 UTCIf you can find really rare, old clips, SUGA and j-hope used to be back-up dancers (yes, that's right, back-up dancers) for other groups on stage performances when they were trainees. Big Hit were not flushed with cash back in the day and some of their trainees who completed their primary education (in the states, we call it high school) and were in the trainee program, worked second jobs and pursued their secondary education. Jin was already in college when he was casted by Big Hit.

2023-01-06 08:22:54 +0000 UTCAneesa tweeted on New Years Eve that she took down all the Rise of Bangtan episodes and that she would not be able to complete the series due to her work obligations (she received a promotion). Reading between the lines, knowing Disney+ is planning to market a HYBE-endorsed BTS series, and that she had received a lot of flak for her RofB work (I won't get into it here), it was inevitable that this was the course of action she would take. If you can find Rise of Bangtan episodes, it won't be from her original YouTube channel - those are no longer available.

2023-01-02 04:01:05 +0000 UTCAbout Jin's fingers - basically his knuckles bend backwards. When you look up a photo you may see people saying he has this condition or that disorder - but please disregard that as he's never said anything about it - just said that he has bendy fingers. He has very flexible joints in general so he has some kind of hypermobility but people talk about specific diagnoses like it's fact which is annoying, so just wanted to let you know to ignore them. Not sure if it's affected him at all - he does have a weak finger flick and has used finger braces in the past though that may be unrelated. Certainly it doesn't stop him from enjoying his hobbies.

2023-01-02 00:12:46 +0000 UTCI'm back rewatching this, the song at the beginning of episode 5 is "Love Is Not Over (Full Length Length Edition)". It's one of their more R&B type songs that I love. You'll find they have shorter versions of songs on some albums and release full length versions on others, I always recommend checking out the "full length versions" that may also save some time on album listens as you won't have to listen to both the short version and full version of songs (you can always check out the shorter versions on your own if your curious about what was cut). I hope you don't worry too much about not having a lot of videos on youtube, you can't help if you get very busy as you have a full time job. You already do such an amazing job being so consistent on patreon it's wonderful but we don't want you to feel overwhelmed or burn out so it's okay to go light sometimes on your schedule so you can rest. I mean you can watch as much as you want to as long as it doesn't feel like work or a chore doing it, we want you to enjoy yourself. You may have times where you have more free time later and can post more so don't feel bad, plus it's your channel so you can do anything you want to do. You'll definitely have vids for youtube with album listens in the future, those should be safe. Although I know one song you might have to post on patreon as it might get blocked, it's a hidden track on the album Love Yourself: Her called "Sea". It's one of my fav songs of theirs although I don't listen to it often as it gets me emotional but it's very pretty.

The Finale for Wings world tour is available on Weverse, it's awesome. I think it comes with the commentary. I don't remember if you've already seen their 2018 MAMA (or MMA?) speech, so I'm not gonna spoil too much but 2017 was a very important, full and stressful year for BTS, as a group and personally (though they never gave details ofc)... I love Burn The Stage , I love each documentary. The movies were released in cinema they are different it's true. I really think the Rise of Bangtan would be good as you start reacting to their albums, it gives a good chronology and replaces some events in a larger perspective. Episodes 1-2 are pre-debut and debut, so 2 Cool 4 Skool Era, Episode 3 is already next mini album O!RUL8,2?. 2022-12-31 09:00:05 +0000 UTCLmao Austin they’re at Santa Monica pier in LA when they’re at the beach 😉 probably Venice beach as well from what I can tell they’re near the boardwalk .. it was march so it’s probably pretty cold in that area near the beach at that time of year. Bc we def don’t have a problem with ppl wearing a lot of clothes at the grocery store here , let alone a beach 😂 so yeah it must just be cold ish but BTS always wears stuff like that and show little skin. They showed more when they were younger actually… when they swam and stuff sometimes.. but they protect their skin a lot and hate to tan so just depends I suppose. Also it’s okay my brain does stuff like that too. Missed a whole 3 city stops before I realized we were in the US part of the tour now 🙊oh well

Can you believe jungkook was the main producer on “love is not over” and co-wrote it at the age of EIGHTEEN!!?!?!?!?! Painfully underrated gorgeous song !

2022-12-31 06:34:46 +0000 UTCOne thing that I think ppl don’t understand about the whole taejin fight … is what crisply made v the most upset and what caused him to go silent and kinda tear up… and he kinda mentions it at one point but it seems to get missed by ppl is he was heated with what was going on with Jin… they both were.. but if you watch… it’s when namjoon says “what are you trying to do,” to tae bc rm was saying they were about to go on but right when he says that is when tae shuts up and tears up… that hurt his feelings. I think it’s why rm hugged him and looked a bit confused before going on stage… I think v said something about it bc rms speech telling them all to remember this is about BTS… and he said “not Jin, or v or rm” and him including himself in that just solidified what I thought. When they talk about it later tae says that phrase upset him but that came from namjoon.. not Jin. At the end of the day nobody was trying to hurt anybody… they all had the best intentions or slight misunderstanding… it’s a long tour they get emotional… no biggie. As for Jin’s apology before they went on stage… he may have meant it… but to only do it once tae stopped talking and v was kinda backed into a corner with them all surrounding him… and it had been going on so long it was a little too little too late after the whole argument went on for quite a bit. Jin’s feelings were hurt bc he felt like he was doing his best… even though tae wasn’t saying he wasn’t.. just trying to make the performance better and it got out of hand … but these guys love each other and fight like brothers lol that’s all this proves… bc ppl who aren’t actually that close or real brothers don’t fight like this bc they don’t care enough to lol all this showed imo is they really are such a family lol I love them

2022-12-31 06:15:47 +0000 UTCEp 5 - I’ve talked so much about the other episodes, I will try and keep this shorter. 😉 I loved seeing them have fun around town. They were either going to eat 3 hot dogs each, or maybe Jin bought some for the camera man or manager with them. I wonder what the hot dog stand person thought about one guy buying 12 hot dogs. LOL. Something to keep in mind about some of what Namjoon said in the beginning, it was during the Wings tour that other fandoms were trying to break BTS. They had the Break Wings campaign to try and prevent them from having the tour. There was a lot of hate directed at BTS and Namjoon himself too. During the Red Bullet tour a death threat was made against Namjoon. Then again in 2015. There was a lot of stress going on for him. It’s hard to believe that JK ever didn’t want to sing. He is always singing!!! BTS’ vocal line is perfection. They are each so different with their own special style and voice. I love hearing them sing. Okay now I am going to stop since I said I was going to make it shorter. 🤣

2022-12-31 06:04:20 +0000 UTC36:12 lmao cracks me up when Jin said “do we need to give feedback to that,” bc jungkooks performance for begin is so difficult but he’s flawless lol like when something is that good then how do you give feedback lol so their feedback was to stop working so hard and Jin and rm giggle explaining that people have a different capacity of what they can do … like saying jungkook gives you unreal expectations and it’s okay if your capacity isn’t on that level lol I hope you get a chance to watch “begin” live for the choreo and his vocals… just a fantastic stage that’s so under appreciated .. I mean it’s about jungkooks love for BTS lol and the choreo reflects that… it’s really cool . That and Sugas “first love” are so underrated… omg first love gives me chills every single time… the passion and perfection of both of these stages always hit different… ugh especially first love… I love that

2022-12-31 05:34:59 +0000 UTCEp 4 - I think the issue wasn’t their disagreement but the timing of it. There was only 10 minutes before the concert started. There was no way they could have resolved it, so why start it? That was a lot of pressure Jin must have felt to be told he needed to change his choreo 10 minutes before the concert. Jin didn’t come into BTS as a dancer, but struggled at first to learn it and often took the longest to learn the moves. He may not have felt he could make those changes without practicing and rehearsing it first. Someone like JK could make a change on the fly, but for Jin that would be very difficult back then. They could have discussed this after the concert for the next one. Everything is always about the timing of it. Also, the Korean culture is HUGE on showing honor to those older than you, even if they are only a year or even months older. To speak like Tae did to Jin in Korean society was very much a no no. But, Jin rarely used his age and hierarchy. So, I think Tae really hurt Jin by what Korean society would consider disrespect. And Jin, did get upset and didn’t handle matters as he normally would have. His response was not what we are used to seeing from Jin. However, I’m sure there were many arguments and fights over the years because that is what brothers do. I love that they all come together to discuss it because any arguments or divisions between members affects everyone. And we can see that Jin & Tae overcame this and in may ways became closer. I love when Jimin puts on his big brother hat with Tae & JK. Lol. Being an older brother in his family, he often displays a maturity people don’t expect. He also has such a kind and loving nature. While it was a difficult episode to see the disharmony, it did show the reality of disagreements that must occur and their ability to work together as a team to resolve them. Many groups would end up disbanding due to arguments like this. BTS just gets stronger because of it. 💜

2022-12-31 04:38:42 +0000 UTCI love ep 3! To be a fly on the wall as they sit around a table drinking and talking. As others mentioned, Yoongi did work while a trainee. They were pretty much required to go to college to be a trainee. Yoongi’s family was not supportive of him pursuing this career in the beginning regardless, but they also did not have the money to pay for it either. All the other member’s families paid for their education and I imagine helped them with certain needs they had. I can’t imagine all the training plus working, song writing, college courses and a part time job. AND he was being a a big brother helping the others. He must have been exhausted and so stressed. The determination and sheer will he displayed… I have huge respect for Yoongi. I love all the members, but Yoongi is especially close to my heart and soul. I’m not sure if I mentioned on any of your video comments, but I broke my arm right where the ball of the shoulder meets the arm. A surgery and metal plate later, I know the pain of shoulder injuries. My PT said shoulder injuries are worse to recover from than knee replacements. My shoulder has never been the same and I still have daily pain. And all I do is sit at a computer for my job. The torture he has put his shoulder through over 10 years makes my heart hurt because I understand some of how he feels. Even with the shoulder surgery, his shoulder will never be the same. He even said there are still some range of motion movements that he can’t do. He has overcome so much and pushed through so much yet has always put the others first and taken such good care of them. He has more heart and soul than anyone I know. The younger ones have had such good role models in him, Jin, Namjoon and Hobi. It’s no wonder that they are all wonderfully good and kind people. 💜

Yeah it's really hard for me to watch them fight or get upset, but I also feel very honored that they feel comfortable enough to share some of these moments with us. 2022-12-31 03:54:55 +0000 UTCThese episodes were great. I enjoyed episode 3 alot because of the sit down talk they had just hanging out enjoying each other drinking wine. It was a revelation to the members and army about Yoongi's shoulder he never spoke about it before. But it all clicked for them, RM realized what his lyrics meant in one of his songs the others realizing that's why he stopped working out lifting weights in the gym (he had a bit stocker build in the earlier days) and why he stopped b-boying. He was driving an older model YD250 Yamaha motorcycle, there is an easter egg in the Interlude Shadow MV "YD250" is written in blue on his bad shoulder on his off white or kaki outfit. He spoke more about his injury on his post surgery VLive. And Jhope talking about almost being let go, even leaving for a time. I don't think we know all that went on at that time but during being a trainee it can be extremely stressful and they are away from their families. They are under a lot of pressure and some groups don't even get to debut for various reasons. I remember Yoongi talking about in the early days before the line up was determined they had to do weekly performance evaluations that would determined if they were kept on or were cut (this is pretty typical for trainee process). I remembered it because he mentioned that sometimes it was individual performance or they would be teamed up to see how well they worked together. He got paired up with RM for a weekly evaluation, they were asked to perform or cover "Jump" by Kriss Kross but he wasn't content with that so RM and him wrote their own song but kept the title "Jump". They later added parts for the vocalists and Jhope, recorded it, and released it on their Skool Luv Affair album.

They really do have a very close bond and while this feels like a big moment to us, to them, it's just one of a million moments between two close friends.

He was training and working part time to pay for his college he didn't mention it to bighit at that time. Once bighit found out about him working trying to pay for college they said they would pay for it he never told them. He drove I think a bike /moped type of vehicle. If that makes a bit more sense.

2022-12-30 12:30:46 +0000 UTCJimin being the only one to stay in the room with Jungkook is so sweet and shows how special their bond is, you will see alot of times that whenever Jungkook is hurt/upset etc Jimin will be always the first member to be with him and exactly the same for if Jimin is hurt/upset etc, Jungkook is the first person to be with him or theres like an unwritten rule everyone knows that those two will be together in situations like that and to give them space together
