2022-12-29 05:33:10 +0000 UTCAustin, I think you will LOVE going to Korea, don't be put off by package tour comments. I say plan what you want to do and do that. Some people try to get into music shows, which are extremely difficult to do unless you're hooked into fan sites, plan ahead of time and are willing to see a group perform at 4AM pre-broadcast (yes, that happens!). But HYBE has a museum (HYBE Insight) and I heard its quite an experience, SM Town has shows that you can look into purchasing tickets, Seoul has markets that are incredible for buying all kinds of gifts or eating different kinds of food, you can walk along Han River and buy ramyeon at the convenience store, or order delivery pizza or fried chicken (this is a must!), go to an animal petting café or a café that celebrates a group member's birthday. I know you're not into sports but the water park is fun, the groups really enjoy going to those, the National Museum of Korea is free and very interesting, Changdeokgung Palace is a must, Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a contemporary marvel, go the top of Lotte World Tower to see the city. You can also fly to Jeju-do for a different experience, stay near the beach and also do various sightseeing in the area - it's beautiful and different than Seoul. But plan on your luggage being full when you return - you'll buy albums, gifts, beauty products (Korea has the best beauty products!!), and you can claim tax-exempt VAT (this is why Key was keeping his receipts, clever tourist!). Sorry this comment is a book but we had the best time there in just five days, I can't wait until we can go back.

2022-12-11 23:59:18 +0000 UTCWe get downpours like this all the time and tourists who decide that its OK to go swimming(!!!) in muddy water when actually its definitely NOT. Muddy water carries all kinds of really nasty stuff, not least fecal material and you can develop leptospirosis, a very real blood infection, from being in muddy water. So just a heads up, listen to warning signs and lifeguards who tell you DO NOT SWIM IN MUDDY WATER!

It is only the 4 of them though but I think it's cute and simple and fun! There's also a lot of variety shows they've been on like knowing bros and stuff.
