Hobi signed his contract in 2009, but stayed in his hometown till he finished Highschool, Hobi worked as a Backup Dancer for 2AM and did Promotion Videos for Bighit but moved to the Dorm in December 2010. Actually, they talked about that in the Season Greetings 2018, and there are also a bunch of written Interviews with Hobi. Highly recommend buying the Season Greetings of each year, you get some much background knowledge also reading older interviews. Yeah some people try to frame it, that Hobis Dad had issues with him doing a creative job/dancing, but that's not true, Hobi adores his Parents his Dad was just worried about him, because he wanted a good life for Hobi.

2022-11-10 10:40:13 +0000 UTCWow I didn’t realize hobi was a trainee longer than any of the other members!!!! He was there for like 4 years? Or he didn’t train or anything until the BTS project? How have I never heard that? Doesn’t surprise me after all I’ve heard from hobi about his family… and omg the happy birthday to hobi in like 2013 ish where he sobs seeing his father… I love how all the boys are so loving with their parents and siblings! Hobi is a perfect example of this!

2022-11-10 01:08:38 +0000 UTCHobi is the sweetest person - feeding Joon and Tae, getting Tae milk, doing the dishes, spending time with everyone, being up for whatever activities the guys are doing so they're not alone, and taking Bam in so the others can play undisturbed. Jin recently said, he's the epitome of a good friend. Also want to say I'm enjoying how you're stopping and commenting more this season - it's good to hear what you think!

That video compilation of him talking to inanimate objects and animals is the cutest thing ever!!! They called him a Disney prince and it fits perfectly lol

That is A LOT lol love daddy joon just doing his thing, hobi being so stinking precious with his rocket, yoongi and foot volleyball is amazing, gaming Jin, tennis jimin … and of course Jeon bam…. I love these guys man!!!

All the boys seem to like animals a lot. j-hope donates to & raises awareness about animal things. He has an app on his phone that helps ppl find their lost pets and he shared an music video on his insta that was raising money for a cat rescue for each view (ARMYs met the goal by the way and got the max donation), and he even personally took a stray cat he found to a vet and paid for it's treatment and even went back to check on it until it had a home. Jin wrote a whole song dedicated to his lost pets, and Jimin is known to really love all things soft & fuzzy too. Yoongi loves cats and dogs and buys his dog Holly all sorts of cute things. And we get regular updates on Yeontan from Tae. Of course you see in In The Soop how conscientious a dog-parent Jungkook is to Bam. He has 3 others too (Guereum is a family dog and I forget the names of the twin dogs he has). Anyway, yeah. I need a Bangtan cat cafe episode of RUN BTS asap.

He has a skin condition called Cholinergic Urticaria, its type of allergy that causes hives triggered by an increase in body temperature. That is the reason u will see him in loose clothes and covering from strong sun. I dont know if that maybe led to his change is style but it recent years we rerly see him in skinny jeans.

2022-11-08 23:04:43 +0000 UTCCroffles seem to be a thing in Seoul cafes, basically croissant dough baked in a waffle iron ["cro" + "ffle"] and you add your favorite things - ice cream, fruit (blueberries, strawberries, bananas), maple syrup, white sugar sprinkle. Some cafes have their waffle irons timed with a cute song so they know when it's ready. Of course, if you make it at home, you could add savory items, such as chicken. They're supposed to be light and fluffy, just depends on the dough you use.

Not sure if you want to react to it but it's fun to see how he came up with the ideas. Plus it's cute seeing the little infomercial that they did for it . I'm still sad I couldn't buy any of them.

2022-11-08 14:16:33 +0000 UTCA croffle is croissant dough made in a waffle maker! They haven't seemed to have caught on where I'm from but I've had other croissant hybrids like cruffins and cronuts! Namjoon is very intelligent and wise, but also sometimes a big excitable golden retriever 😂. He's intimidatingly smart but also struggles with a lot of day to day things. He's very interesting and endearing.

2022-11-08 13:27:28 +0000 UTCHobis Dad is a Literature Teacher, but Hobi only cared about dancing and even skipped classes that's why he never got into Science, his Sister was pretty good at school went to the US and Australia to study Medicine. education is the only way out of poverty and low-income families in SK, that's why his Dad had some issues with Hobi dancing (they didn't have much money, in RUN he revealed they couldn't afford toys for him). Hobis Mother also worked 2 Jobs in a different City to pay for Hobis Dance Classes, so they got separated for a long time, that's why Hobi started doing auditions pretty early in his first middle school years, because he promised his Mom that he will succeed. He won several competitions hold by JYP, but he only took the Money, his Academy Teacher showed Bang PD his Performances and that's why Hobi auditioned for Bighit and became the first ever Trainee at Bighit at age 16. But he stayed in Gwangu till he got his Degree because he promised his Dad to finish High School while Hobi finished School, Iron, Supreme Boi, RM and Suga became Trainees for the Original BTS that was supposed to be Rappers only (They changed the Project 18 months later to an Idol Project and only Hobi, RM and Suga and Supreme Boi stayed), and moved into the Dorm a few Months later Hobi moved too, and met all the Rappers and Namjoon/Suga. Hobi wrote a Song for his Mom on the Wings Album, called Mama, explaining what she did for him.
