Drake Hall | April Release

Hey all!

Today we're dropping our first post-launch Drake Hall content. If you missed our launch announcement last month you can catch it here, but to recap...

Drake Hall is a small forested settlement in the wilderness, and is aimed at being ideal for new adventurers. Our goal is to continually keep adding on to the settlement with more buildings, NPCs, plot hooks, and surrounding locations so that it grows into a functional settlement - ready to be dropped into any game in its entirety as needed, or eventually even as a dedicated adventure setting.

Each month, Drake Hall will be updated with:

Similar to Vampire Hunters, the vast majority of content for Drake Hall will be in the Foundry module, using the Dungeons & Dragons 5e game system. Each month, the three scenes will all come with quests, plot hooks, new characters and items to continue fleshing out the setting.

Here's this month's content!

The Commissary

The Commissary is a general goods store and eating hall in the heart of Drake Hall. Many adventurers call in here looking to resupply, and many workers in the surrounding region take their lunch breaks here. The owner, Lyle, has recently come into possession of a satchel that starts a quest thread that will span the next several months of Drake Hall content!

Foundry users are able to enter the building, climb onto the roof, and pass beneath canopy elements. Day/Night variants are included.

Wild Thicket

A once-neglected ritual circle deep in the woods has been scattered and shifted as the earth has moved over the centuries, but recently the ritual site has seen use once again.

Characters following the quest from The Commissary will find an incomplete druidic ritual causing problems for this region, resulting in a fight against the Viridian Stag - a Fae spirit that has different abilities depending on whether the group confront it at day or night!

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the tree canopies, and the night variant has overhead clusters of fireflies as canopies. Day/Night variants are included.

Ogre Campsite

A small campsite with a large tent. This is the campsite of Ozruk the Ogre Bandit. Characters who have retrieved Marley's Letter from the Brigand's Tollhouse last month will have already received directions to this location, where they find the bandits preparing for their next heist - as well as a large amount of potent blasting sticks. Ozruk isn't afraid to use these in a confrontation, but if the group manage to steal any then who knows what future use they may have in the caverns below Drake Hall?

Drake Hall is available on pCloud for All the Things tier Patrons, and the Foundry module has been updated!
