Unlike her colleagues, Sheala was not known to interfere in politics and instead dedicating her days to research.

Later, Philippa still persuaded Sheala to join the Lodge of Sorceresses. It was Sheala who came up with the names for this secret group.
Interesting fact: Sheala was a key figure in the plan with Ciri, who wanted to be planted in the form of the lover of Prince Tankred Thyssen (King Kovir and Poviss), she had to get pregnant from him. The child had to ensure the future and status of the Lodge.
