Swordtember 2022 Collab with Sinlaire

Hey all,

So as mentioned in the previous post this month on the Patreon we're doing Modular Dungeons, a whole bunch of tiles that will be exclusive to our Patreon subscribers and a modular set that will be added to over time. Team MAD are already hard at work to get a whole bunch of tiles ready for you, our lovely patrons.

However, this month is Swordtember on many social medias, where illustrators design a new sword every day from a different word prompt. Well we don't illustrate swords really, so we've teamed up with our good friend (and one of the most talented illustrators we've had the pleasure to work with), Sinlaire. Some of you may have seen Sinlaire's illustrations and item art in our released issues of Crucible Magazine, or you may have seen his work from his previous 2021 Swordtember!

This time round we're working with Sinlaire, who is making swords from the prompts that his Patreon supporters made, which will be given away for free throughout September and this year he's even making lore and 5e stat blocks for them!

For us (and Alex in particular) we'll be making 20x20 modular dungeon rooms based on the same prompts and being inspired by the sword concepts that Sinlaire makes so that the swords and rooms compliment each other! We'll be making a new room every day (The Map-A-Day Cartographer is back for September!) and releasing them for free on both ours and Sinlaire's Patreon; for TMC supporters these free tiles will compliment premium content for this month's Modular Dungeons theme, giving you a whole bunch of cool rooms to build from.

The maps and items will be added here every day (in theory...) and we'll also be making a free Foundry VTT module with the map tiles, some connecting corridors, and the magic items with artwork and statblocks. TMC All The Things™ Patrons don't need to download the free module as the content will be added to the Modular Dungeons theme pack that will be available through your Master List.
