Monthly Roadmap: May

Hey all!

Trying something a little different from this month and that's to give ya'll a bit of a snapshot of what we're working on this month behind the scenes to give a bit more transparency of what's on the boil and what you can expect this month and beyond.

Timelines shift, unforeseen things come up, but generally here's what we're working on for may:

May Theme: Pick N' Mix 3

Team MAD are well underway with initial sketches of what they're working on for this month, a mish mash of random maps that are fun and interesting as opposed to being tied to a specific theme. So far we have desert cliff dwellings, a jungle blood altar, a town square gallows (and pyre variant), a medieval fete (mini maps for jousting, archery and melee combat), and a few others that are in the mix.

We'll also be releasing our subway/skyway map soon which we made for the Aldarra Kickstarter by Arcane Minis (the Kickstarter has now finished but pre-orders for the game are still available, well worth checking out).

New Foundry Adventures

We'll be releasing a bunch of Foundry adventures next month in lieu of Crucible Magazine being put back a month before launching, so we're dropping some adventure content that we already have access to. These were made by Luke from The DMs Lair using our maps, so we only have permission to release the VTT content and not the PDF unfortunately.

Adventures will be released for free through Patreon (we'll send the JSON link through Patreon PMs so you always have the link) then they'll be added to the web shop next month.

Assets

Big priority for me is to start pulling more assets from our old maps and bulk out our library even more, as well as adding in the new assets we make for this months theme! As well as adding them to Moulinette for the Foundry users we're also going to start dipping our toe into converting our assets to make them accessible in DungeonDraft, this doesn't appear to be the quickest of processes so likely the content will get piecemealed and added to as we get a chance (we have a lot of backlog).

New Ongoing Theme: Community Creations

This month we'll be gearing up to launch our Community Creations theme, which will be an ongoing pack available to the All The Things™ tier where you will be able to share your own creations using our maps and assets. There will be a private channel added to the Discord for folks to share their content, any that we're particularly impressed with we'll be adding to their own MAD Community Creations Foundry module which we'll update and add the maps to. There will be some more details regarding this later this month.

Web Shop: Foundry Themes

We're looking to get the individual Foundry themes on the web-shop this month so that anyone who want's to purchase permanent access to a theme can do so (which will be in the form of a redeemable license key to be activated through Foundry). All our static themes will be available to purchase, however, themes that will have ongoing updated with new content added will be a Patreon only benefit (Modular Caverns, Towns & Cities, Pick N' Mix, Community Creations). Your All The Things™ 50% discount will still work on the map packs.
