Poll: Who Are Your Favorite Guys?
Added 2024-12-16 16:18:12 +0000 UTCHey there, everyone! As I plan future, smaller story updates, I want to take into consideration the popularity of each of the main characters. I'd like to make sure I'm highlighting the guys that most players are interested in so you're not waiting as long for their new content, while also pairing them with the less popular guys so their fans don't get shortchanged.
The poll below lists all 16 main characters. If you want to take part in the poll, please select the guys whose storylines you're most interested in (or who you most want to see in sexual scenarios!). You can select as many as you like.
As the most dedicated fans of the game, I value your opinions quite a bit. Thank you in advance to everyone who takes part! 🙂

I like Griffin. I feel like of all the characters, he's the one that has the most layers to peel back and reveal. He's had the least time to develop, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of what he's about. I enjoyed the time he was there, but I can see why others aren't really sold on him yet. Right now my top 5 are probably Matt, Marco, Evan, Owen, and Julian. Griffin remains to be seen.

My top 6 (because I can't cut it to 5) are Leo, Asher, Griffin, Owen, Riley and Tomas right now. I will say I am now really loving Marco too as a character in general. Like as a bestie for Connor or a romance option. Like the good friend vibes are satisfying. I love so many of these characters and the side characters.

I expected to like Tomas and Will but wasn't really vibing with them much. But I did not expect to care at all about Isaiah and Asher but I cannot wait to see more of them already!

2024-12-19 17:20:34 +0000 UTCThanks for the insight, it seems what you tried to do worked! For me at least. I find Griffin physically striking and personality-wise intriguing. There are character archtypes which I'd consider more "indulgences" (which is what we're here for of course, who doesn't want their best friend to be super hot and secretly reciprocate their feelings?). Griffin stands out as someone who is an interesting person regardless of our own desires as Connor, and that is something I appreciate about him. I legit played through his route a second time just to make sure I read everything with intention. Interesting to know about the archtype of Evan and Riley, I have to go through the other updates to read more about this. :) Anyway, happy holidays and look forward to the story in the future.

2024-12-19 16:31:57 +0000 UTCGriffin is someone who's easy to miss since he doesn't come in until the end of Day 2 and only via one of the three evening paths. By then I think some players are already so invested in other guys that they're not too interested in speaking to this bartender, so I get it. I also purposefully made him unconventionally handsome to counter the usual stereotype of what a "player" should look like, which may have something to do with it as well. He's striking in his own way, in my opinion, and I think the more you get to know him, the more attractive he can become. I really like writing him because he's probably the most complicated of all the characters with secret motivations that won't be revealed for a little while. He's definitely the most morally gray out of everyone. I always appreciate hearing from Griffin's fans because all of you really cotton to that, which is gratifying as his writer! Riley I knew was very popular and would be second place to Matt—he hits a specific archetype a lot of people like. Evan is cast from a similar mold—there's actually a line of dialogue about that in this update that Riley-focused players probably saw. Initially Evan was meant to be a character on a similar level to Leo, Julian, Mafia, & NC17. I got a lot of requests to make him romanceable, and when writing it made sense to go that route, so now he's getting featured a lot more. I imagine he will gain even more fans as we go!

I'm not surprised to see Matt on top, happily surprised to see some I thought would get less love (Riley, Evan). All the characters seem multi-faceted, but a special shout out to Griffin. He obviously has a lot of backstory and depth. His range of emotion from flirting, to taking care of you, back to witty back and forth, is very well done. Definitely want to see more of him, he's a personal favorite. I wonder if he is in the lower half of the votes because people generally choose other paths where his route isn't explored.

2024-12-17 00:44:54 +0000 UTCDominic being lower on the poll actually isn't a bad thing—it means I gauged correctly when I decided the story update after the one dedicated to Matt, Evan, & Leo should feature Riley & Dominic. The update will be relevant to a lot of players by highlighting a more popular guy, which allows me to also focus on a less popular guy so he doesn't get left behind—and potentially gain more fans in the process 🙂

I love so many of these characters it was a hard vote. Riley is my fav, but I also really love Matt, Evan, Dominic and Owen. I also really enjoy Julian, Leo and Will (since they are not romance options my interest is a little less since I know I can't end up with them but I still like them a lot). You did a great job with all of the characters as I have strong opinions on all of the main characters + many of the side characters lol.

Particularly how we’ve gotten to see different sides to some of the characters. Gives them each an extra layer of depth which is very much appreciated! In terms of my favorites, I honestly appreciate and adore all of them for different reasons. Which is why this is such a hard decision, it changes based on the update and what we learn about the characters. As of right now, if I had to choose my top five favorite characters it would be: Dominic, Marco, Julian, Riley and Isaiah (though Owen is real close to being in this as well) I’ve absolutely loved seeing the sides of them that they don’t normally show others. Again, great update, patiently waiting for more!
